GATE 2025 Rank Card- IIT Roorkee has issued the GATE 2025 rank card on March 28, 2025. The link to download the GATE rank card 2025 is available at gate2025.iitr.ac.in. To download the GATE scorecard 2025, candidates need to log in using their GATE enrollment ID and password. The rank card will display the GATE 2025 rank and score of the candidate. The last date to download the GATE 2025 rank card is May 31, 2025. However, candidates will be able to download the GATE 2025 scorecard till December 31 by paying a fee of Rs. 500. IITR has released the GATE rank card 2025 on March 28, 2025. The steps to download the GATE 2025 rank card are available here.
Open the official GATE 2025 website gate2025.iitr.ac.in
Click on the “Download GATE 2025 scorecard/Rank card” link
Enter the GATE 2025 enrollment number and password on the login page
Click on the GATE 2025 scorecard tab
The GATE 2025 scorecard will be displayed on the screen.
Candidates will be able to then download the GATE 2025 rank card.

GATE 2025 Rank Card importance
Candidates with a valid rank card for the GATE 2025 exam can use it to apply for admission into various MTech courses. The institutions the candidates can apply to are IITs, IIScs and NITs. Apart from admission to MTech courses, candidates can also apply for jobs in PSUs. To participate in the GATE Counselling 2025 for MTech admission and PSUs, candidates need to submit their GATE Rank cards during verification. The GATE 2025 counselling commenced on March 27, 2025.
GATE 2025 Rank card Validity
The GATE 2025 rank card is valid for 3 years from the date of issue. For example: if the candidate was issued the GATE Rank card on March 19, 2025, they can use the rank card for admissions and jobs until March 19, 2028.
Candidates can only apply for admission using the GATE Rank Card 2025 within its validity period. Once the three years is lapsed, the GATE 2025 rank card becomes invalid and cannot be issued for applications anymore. Candidates can also apply for PSUs recruitment through their GATE 2025 scores using the GATE rank card.
A GATE score of around 253 is not enough for top IITs or NITs, but you can still get admission into some private engineering colleges, especially in less competitive branches like Civil or Production. However, you might not receive a monthly stipend and will have to manage most of the expenses on your own.
GATE Textile Fiber (TF) focuses on subjects like textile technology, fiber science, yarn & fabric manufacturing, and finishing. The exam includes 65 questions—10 from General Aptitude and 55 from core TF subjects.
