DST Bihar Recruitment through GATE 2026 - The Department of Science and Technology, Government of Bihar will release the application for the recruitment of assistant professor and lecturer through GATE 2026 soon. The vacancies in DST Bihar lecturer and assistant professor recruitment through GATE 2026 will be released for Govt Polytechnic College, Govt Polytechnic College for Women and Engineering Colleges under the aegis of DST, Bihar. The authority will announce the GATE 2026 result on March 19, 2026.
DST Bihar recruitment will be through GATE score 2026 and no separate written examination will be held. All the vacancies are purely contractual in nature for one year which can further be continued by order of concerned authorities. Students with a valid GATE score 2026 are eligible to apply for DST Bihar recruitment through GATE. A merit list will be formulated based on GATE 2026 score and candidates will be called for subsequent rounds of recruitment in the order of merit. Candidates who wish to apply for the DST Bihar recruitment through GATE 2026 should fulfill the below mentioned eligibility criteria before filling the online application form:
Candidate must have passed B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in first division with an aggregate 60 percentage marks or more.
Candidate must have a valid GATE score 2026.
The GATE 2026 score must be in relevant branch to the aforesaid educational qualification.
Candidate must have attained the minimum age of 22 years.

Open the official portal of online application.
Click on the Apply Online tab.
Register with the required details as asked in the form.
Click on register button to submit the registration form.
After the registration process, user ID and password will be sent to the registered mobile number.
Login with the user ID and password to generate OTP in the registered mobile number and submit the OTP.
After submission of OTP complete application form will be opened.
Fill the complete application form.
Upload photograph, signature and documents as required.
Finalize and verify all the details and submit the DST Bihar recruitment through GATE 2026 application form.

All the vacancies as notified are purely contractual in nature for a period of one year from the date of joining. The commission, however, reserves the right regarding further continuation or termination of the service.
There will be no written examination and allotment will be through a merit list based on the GATE score 2026.
Merit list will be formulated based on candidates scores in GATE exam 2026.
Recruitment will be done keeping in view the merit and reservation policies set by the Govt of Bihar and Union Govt of India
Final decision of allotment shall be made by DST, Govt of Bihar for all the subsequent rounds of recruitment

Marksheet and certificates of class 10 and 12.
Marksheet and degree certificate of all semesters in B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech.
