The authority has activated the round 3 Chhattisgarh MTech merit list link at cgdte.admissions.nic.in.The CG MTech registration and choice filling was held till August 10. The round 3 Chhattisgarh MTEch is a spot round. Listed candidates need to visit the preferred college on August 12, 2025. The round 3 admission process will be held till August 14, 2025. Admission to M.Tech courses in Chhattisgarh is based on GATE scores. Note that there is no separate entrance exam for Chhattisgarh 2025 M.Tech admission.

The authority concluded the process of round 3 application form of Chhattisgarh M.Tech 2025 on August 10. The Chhattisgarh M.Tech 2025 registration includes steps like registration, payment of the application fee, filling of details, choice locking and submission of the application form. Candidates can refer to the following steps to fill out the application form of Chhattisgarh M.Tech 2025.
Steps to fill Chhattisgarh M.Tech 2025 application form
Step 1: Registration - In the first step, candidates have to register themselves by entering the following details -

After successful registration, login Id of the candidates will be generated. Candidates must note their login Id for future reference.
Step 2: Payment of Fees - In the next step, candidates will have to pay the application-cum-counselling fee of Chhattisgarh M.Tech 2025. The payment of fee can be done through SBI e-challan. Candidates will have to download the e-challan from the website and submit it along with the application fee at the nearest SBI branch. The fees is to be paid in cash through the link or QR code available in the application form. Candidates are advised to keep the stamped challan safely for future use.
Step 3: Filling of Required Details - After this, candidates will be required to fill all the other details of the form as mentioned below -
Personal Details - Name of candidate, Parent’s name, category, domicile, etc.

Chhattisgarh M.Tech Merit List 2025
Candidates shortlisted based on the merit list are considered for final admission. If two or more candidates have the same GATE scores then in that case the following rule will be followed to break the tie -
Candidates with higher marks in the qualifying exam will be given a higher rank.
If a tie still persists, the candidate older in age will be given a higher rank.

The authorities conduct the web-based counselling of Chhattisgarh M.Tech 2025. The GATE 2026 Agricultural Engineering (AG) paper will have a total of 100 marks. Out of this, 15 marks are for General Aptitude and 85 marks are for core Agricultural Engineering subjects.
The marks are generally distributed among major topics like Engineering Mathematics (12–13 marks), Farm Machinery (10–11), Farm Power (14–15), Soil & Water Conservation (12–13), Irrigation & Drainage (10–12), Agricultural Process Engineering (10–12), and Dairy & Food Engineering (9–10 marks).
The official qualifying marks for GATE 2026 are not yet released. However, based on previous years, the cutoff for the Agricultural Engineering paper is expected to be around 25 marks for General, 22.5 for OBC/EWS, and 16.6 for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
