Dear Vishu, the year gap will not affect your future because you had medical issues. You can appear for JEE Mains 2020 and secure a seat and take admission. During placements, there will be questions asked and so keep all your Medical documents intact. It's not that they would want to check it but it is just for your justification. But for now, your focus should remain JEE Mains 2020 and you can cross that ship when time comes. During placements, what matters is your aggregate in your Bachelors and also your performance in the Interview.
Since you have taken a drop so you only one attempt left for JEE advanced. There are various other Institutes entrance exams like IISER, BITSAT, COMEDK, WBJEE etc.
