Guide to Formulate a Study Plan for Joint Preparation of JEE Main and TS EAMCET 2026

When looking at both exams, knowing how to prepare for TS EAMCET with JEE Main is crucial to devise an effective timetable to ensure all the content is covered throughout the course.

Pomodoro Technique: Break study into 25 minutes of content they focus and 5 minutes of intervals that refresh their minds.

Conceptual Linking: Examine the connection between examinations in the case of TS EAMCET derivatives VS JEE Main: advanced calculus.

Reverse Engineering: Solve past mock tests and find out where you went wrong, also to solve with maximum accuracy the answers should be solved step by step.

Create a Daily Study Schedule: Allocate time each day to cover topics that overlap between TS EAMCET and JEE Main. These include fundamental topics in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Aim for four to six hours of study per day, divided across both exams.

Divide Time Based on Weightage and Difficulty: Given that JEE Main questions are more complex, dedicate extra time to JEE-level topics and problem-solving. For TS EAMCET, focus on quick problem-solving techniques and memorizing state-board-specific information.

Focus on Common Topics

Since both exams cover a substantial portion of Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, prioritize topics common to both syllabi. Topics like Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, Mechanics, Electromagnetism, Thermodynamics, and Organic Chemistry form the foundation for both exams.Topics like Algebra, Trigonometry, and Calculus form the foundation for how to prepare for TS EAMCET with JEE Main efficiently.

Subject priority

For TS EAMCET: Focus areas of the state-board which are generally overlooked during preparation of JEE Main:

Physics: Conduction, Radiation and Convection, The Wave Nature of Light, Elements of Circuit Theory.

Chemistry: Environmental Chemistry, Chemical Bonding.

Mathematics: that contains Probability, Differential Equations, and State specific Calculus topics.

For JEE Main: Revise the advanced chapters only and skipping over hard problems:

Physics: Rotational dynamics, Modern Physics and Gravitation .

Chemistry: Electrochemistry, Surface chemistry and Analysis Techniques.

Mathematics: Advanced Coordinate Geometry, Vector Algebra, and 3D Geometry.

Mock Test of JEE Main vs TS EAMCET

For JEE Main: Practice advanced-level questions and focus on understanding concepts deeply. Strengthen problem-solving skills with a focus on time-bound practice. Familiarize yourself with JEE Main-level mock tests to improve your speed and accuracy under pressure.Mock tests are an essential component of how to prepare for TS EAMCET with JEE Main effectively.

For TS EAMCET: Focus on state-board textbooks and previous years’ papers. Practicing with TS EAMCET-specific mock tests will help you improve speed, as TS EAMCET demands quick answers to a larger volume of questions. Time-bound practice is essential for this purpose.

In-Depth Approach for JEE Main: Good problem-solving experience, as compared to many other engineering entrance exams, JEE Main provides five minutes more for each question than TS EAMCET. Working relationships 2: The precision and speed in solving production problems need to be balanced for a positive effect on performance.

Management of Stress

Studying for TS EAMCET and JEE Main simultaneously can be a big challenge but having a right attitude and managing stress would complement your preparation. Here are some tips:

  • Set Realistic Goals: Divide the preparation into smaller goals that will also help detect and encourage progress along the way.

Have a question related to TS EAMCET ?

Hello,

Earlier, TS EAMCET used to give weightage to Intermediate (Class 12) marks along with entrance exam marks. But from 2020 onwards, the rule was changed, and now 100% weightage is given to the EAMCET exam score only. Class 12 marks are only used as an eligibility condition (like you must pass in Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology with required percentage). So, for 2026 also, the weightage will be fully on your TS EAMCET performance.

Hello Moni

With 8,000 rank in TS EAMCET and bring a SC category student, getting a seat in veterinary (BVSc) is very low likely due to the fact that the cutoff rank for your category is around 4000-6000 rank.

If the cutoff goes high this year, then there will be a possibility of getting your desired branch in your desired college.

Hope this answer helps! Thank You!!!

With a rank of around 41,700 in TS EAMCET under BC-B category, the chances of getting a government agriculture seat are quite low. Agriculture seats in government colleges are usually filled at much earlier ranks, especially for BC categories. Most government agriculture seats close within the first 10,000 to 15,000 ranks depending on the category and quota.

Hello,

To predict your college in TS EAMCET Phase 3 counselling, generally speaking, Phase 3 is the final round where leftover seats and withdrawals are handled. The chances of getting a government seat are lower unless your rank is very strong. Still, some private colleges and semi-government colleges do offer seats in this round.

Fill maximum realistic choices in your web options to avoid seat loss.
