Steps to fill IIST B.Tech Application Form

Candidates can refer to the following steps for filling out the application form of IIST B.Tech 2025-

Step 1: Registration and form filling- Candidates who appear for JEE Advanced 2025 and satisfy all the eligibility conditions will first have to register by entering basic details like name, mobile number, etc. Candidates will also be required to enter all other required details of the form. On successful registration, candidates will receive a system-generated IIST Registration Number. Candidates will also be needed to specify a password.

  • A detailed schedule of IIST B.Tech seat allotment/Acceptance rounds will be released by the authorities.

  • Based on available vacancies, IIST B.Tech seat allocation is done in order of merit as per the preferences filled in by the candidates.

IIST B.Tech Seat Acceptance 2025

Candidates opting for the Freeze or Slide options during an IIST B.Tech seat allocation round were required to accept the seat. First of all, candidates are to pay the First Semester Fee amounting to INR 34000 (charges towards the Hostel and Dining amounting to INR 14400 will be collected on arrival at IIST) before the specified date in online mode. Next, the candidates are required to upload the scanned documents as mentioned below-

Yes, IISc takes admission through JEE Mains. Candidates who have qualified JEE Mains can apply for Bachelor of Science (Research) at IISc. All India Rank above or below 350 in either JEE Mains or JEE Advanced. The cut-off is based on the All India ranking for Counselling and not on the category based ranking.
