GATE 2024: IISc Bangalore released the GATE 2024 score card on March 23, 2024. The link to download the GATE scorecard 2024 is updated on the official website, gate2024.iisc.ac.in. GATE cutoff 2024 was released on March 22. Moreover, IIT Kanpur commenced the GATE COAP 2024 registration process on March 19. Candidates who wish to pursue M.Tech at IITs have to apply at the institute's official website and COAP 2024 portal. The list of GATE 2024 toppers was released on March 17. Moreover, the GATE 2024 result was announced on March 16. Candidates were able to raise objections to the GATE 2024 answer key from February 21 to March 15. GATE 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who wish to appear for the exam need to fulfil the GATE 2024 eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria of GATE 2024 comprise education qualification, age, domicile, and much more. Candidates who meet the GATE exam eligibility criteria can take the GATE exam. However, the candidates need to complete the GATE entrance exam 2024 registration before the last date. The authorities has released the GATE exam eligibility 2024 along with the official notification.
A candidate who is currently studying in the 3rd or higher years of any undergraduate degree program OR has already completed any government-approved degree program in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts is eligible for appearing in the GATE 2024 exam.

GATE 2024 Application Form
IISc Bangalore concluded the GATE exam 2024 registration process. The eligible candidates were allowed to fill out the GATE exam form 2024. The authority announced the GATE 2024 registration date online at the official website. Candidates can check the last date for GATE 2024 registration online at the official website. While filling out the GATE exam registration form, aspirants had to ensure that the name of the candidate in the GATE 2024 registration is the same as that in the valid photo ID, which the candidate must produce in original while appearing for the GATE exam at the centre. No application form is accepted after the GATE 2024 last date to apply. Candidates can check the GATE exam registration details online.
Steps to fill GATE 2024 Application form
First of all complete the GATE 2024 registration. Candidates have to register for the GATE exam through the GOAPS 2024 portal. The GATE 2024 registration will include details like the Candidate’s first, middle name, and surname, valid email id, country of residence, Mobile Number, and password. After adding the details, candidates have to enter the OTP received on the mobile number and registered Email ID. A unique enrollment ID will be allotted to the successfully registered candidates.
Once registered, candidates have to complete the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2024 application form with details like Personal details, Academic details, communication details, a paper appearing for, exam centre details, photo id proof, signature, and category certificate (for reserved categories).
Next, upload scanned images of photos, signatures, and other documents as per the specification.
Finally, candidates have to pay the GATE application fee in online mode.

The GATE 2024 application form correction process concluded on November 24. The authorities opened the correction window of GATE application form 2024 on November 20. The GATE application form correction 2024 allowed candidates to edit the incorrect details entered by them while filling out the forms. For this, students had to pay a fee. Also, candidates were not allowed to edit every detail.

The list of GATE exam centres 2024 has been released tentatively along with the official brochure. Last year, the GATE exam was held at 176 exam centres. GATE Normalisation Process

GATE 2024 Counselling
Candidates who will be declared qualified will have to use GATE COAP and CCMT portals for counselling purposes. The GATE counselling 2024 and admission process for IITs are done through the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP), while, for admissions into NITs, IIEST Shibpur, and IIITs & GFTIs, Centralised Counselling for M.Tech. (CCMT) is conducted.

GATE COAP 2024
Common Offer Acceptance Portal, also known as COAP is a portal that provides a common platform for candidates who wish to get admission to the M.Tech programs in the participating institutes or job offers from participating public sector unit (PSUs). Candidates having valid GATE scores 2024 need to register at COAP and at the institute's portal for admission. All the participating IITs and IISc Bangalore will publish seat allotment results at the COAP portal. Using the COAP portal 2024, candidates will have to check their seat allotment status and accept/ reject the seat.
CCMT 2024
The full form of CCMT is Centralized Counselling for M.Tech / M.Arch / M.Plan Admission. The admission to the M.Tech / M.Arch / M.Plan programmes offered at all NITs, IIEST Shibpur, some IIITs, and CFITs is done through the CCMT portal. Candidates having valid GATE scores need to register at the CCMT portal. The authority releases the seat allotment result at the CCMT portal.
GATE MTech admission
Candidates who qualify the GATE exam will be eligible for admission to the IITs, NITs, IIEST Shibpur, some IIITs, CFITs, and the institutes accepting the GATE score. Applicants have to register at COAP for IIT M.Tech admission and CCMT for NIT, some IIITs, CFITs M.Tech admission. Candidates need to complete the registration process at CCMT and COAP portal. What After GATE 2024?
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is held for admission to the Master's programmes. Moreover, the GATE score is used by public sector companies for recruitment purposes. Candidates with valid GATE scores has two options after the GATE entrance exam i.e. admission and recruitment.

What is GATE?
The GATE is a PG level entrance exam conducted jointly by the seven IITs, located at Mumbai, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Chennai, Roorkee & IISc Bengaluru on behalf of the NCB, GATE, The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India.
GATE Full Form
The full form of GATE is the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. The GATE entrance exam is conducted for admission to the M.E/M.Tech programmes at IITs and the various other institutes that accept the GATE score. Moreover, GATE qualified candidates are eligible for admission to Master's programmes offered at IITs, NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs. Moreover, the candidates with valid GATE scores are recruited by the PSUs.
How many students appeared for GATE 2024 exam?
The IISc Bangalore is yet to announce the details on how many students will appear for the GATE exam 2024. The number of students who appeared for IISc Bangalore GATE 2024 will be updated on this page soon after the official announcement. However, students can check the previous year GATE exam statistics. About 6.8 lakh candidates registered this year for the exam. The GATE was held at more than 500 centres across the country.
