GATE Toppers 2025: IIT Roorkee will release the list of GATE 2025 toppers on the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The authorities will release the subject-wise toppers list for GATE 2025 along with the results. The authority will declare the GATE 2025 results on March 19, 2025. Candidates who obtain the highest marks in the GATE exam in their respective subjects will be declared as GATE toppers 2025. IIT Roorkee will conduct GATE 2025 for 30 papers on February 1, 2, 15 and 16, 2025. Candidates will be able to check the GATE 2025 toppers for CE, CS, ME, EE and more subjects here.

The GATE toppers list along with their marks, for all 30 subjects will be updated on this page as soon as it is available. Candidates will be able to secure admission to various M.Tech courses or for recruitment in PSUs through GATE based on their GATE results. Check the article to know all about the GATE Topper list 2025.
Candidates can check the following table to know the details of the GATE toppers 2025. The authorities will release the GATE 2025 toppers for all subjects. The table below will be updated with the GATE toppers for CS, CE, ME, EE, ECE and more subjects. Previously, three candidate have secure AIR 1 in Electrical Engineering in GATE 2024: MANOJ KUMAR SINHA, SHIVAM, and SAI KIRAN ADELLY. These candidates scored 77 marks (raw) out of 100, and their GATE score was a perfect 1000.

Students who will be on the list of the GATE result 2025 topper will be able to strive their way to jobs at PSU. Students having valid GATE 2025 scores are recruited as entry-level trainee engineers in many PSUs like GAIL, BHEL, DRDO, and ISRO with high salaries.
Students who qualify for GATE with a valid score can take admission to courses like M.Tech/M.E./Ph.D. in institutes like IITs, NITs, IIITs, and many other institutes. Students admitted to these institutes with GATE 2025 scores are also entitled to a fellowship by MHRD, Govt of India. Students have to apply through COAP for IIT M.Tech admission. Candidates will have to apply for CCMT for admission to NITs and IIITs apart from applying to the respective institute.

Candidates must rank between 100-200 to be considered for a call from PSUs like ONGC and IOCL.
The GATE 2025 results will be declared on March 19, 2025.
In 2024, 6,53,292 students took the GATE exam, with around 1.29 lakh qualifying, resulting in a pass percentage of about 18%. In 2023, 5.17 lakh students took the exam, and around 1 lakh qualified, also resulting in a pass percentage of about 18%. In 2022, approximately 18.87% of students cleared the exam, with 597,030 students appearing and 112,678 qualifying.

2. Contact GATE 2025 support: Reach out to the official GATE 2025 helpline or email (gate2025@iitk.ac.in) and report the issue

1. Re-upload signature: If permitted, re-upload a corrected signature.
2. Rectify during document verification: If selected, you can rectify the signature issue during document verification.

Yes, you can still apply for PSU jobs under the PwD quota later, even if you give the GATE exam under the general category for now. The GATE exam itself doesn’t restrict you from applying to jobs under a different category later, as it only reflects your score and rank, not your category.
When applying for PSU jobs, you'll have the option to apply under the PwD category, provided you have the valid UDID certificate by then. Just make sure to obtain your PwD UDID certificate before the PSU job application process begins. The key is having the certificate at the time of applying for jobs, not necessarily during the GATE exam. This way, you can still avail all the benefits of PwD reservation during the job application process.
So, it's okay to give GATE under general reservation now, as long as you plan to get your PwD certificate before applying for jobs.
