MP M.Tech Admission 2024- Mp DTE has activated the link to check the MP MTech seat allotment 2024 for round 2 (GATE) and QE-based admission on September 4. Students have to input their roll number/application number, password and date of birth to download the seat allotment of MP MTech 2024. The link is available at dte.mponline.gov.in. The common merit list for round 2 and QE based rounds was released on August 27, 2024. The MP MTech application form was closed on August 22 for the same. The revised DTE MP MTech admission dates for 2024 are provided here. The authority conducts MP MTech counselling 2024 for admission to postgraduate engineering courses through GATE and B.Tech merit.

The authorities have released the MP M.Tech 2024 eligibility criteria on the official website. It must be noted that candidates are required to meet the eligibility requirements for admission. The eligibility criteria for MP M.Tech 2024 are mentioned below:
Candidates must be Indian nationals
Candidates must have completed his/her graduation from a relevant field in Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 50% marks. (45% for SC/ST/OBC(NCL))
The bachelor's degree, as completed by candidates, must be at least 4 years.
Applicants must have a valid GATE score (if applying through GATE)
Candidates in the final year of the examinations can also apply provisionally. However, such candidates will have to produce the original certificate of having passed/mark sheet of the degree program at the time of counselling.
The authority has closed the application form filling process for MP M.Tech admission 2024 round 2 and qualifying exam based admission. The first two rounds of MP MTech admission 2024 are GATE based. Candidates have to complete the process before the MP MTech 2024 registration last date, for actual participation in the counselling process.
Here is the step-by-step procedure to fill out the application form for MP M.Tech 2024.
Registration - Candidates will have to enter the required details like name, email address, mobile number and other basic information to register.
Application form - On successful registration, they have to enter personal, academic, GATE-related and communication details.
Upload scanned images - After filling in the information, candidates must upload their recent passport-size photograph in the prescribed format and dimensions.
Document Verification - Candidates need to verify their documents before they proceed to choose their programme.
Fee Payment - Candidates must pay the application fee via net banking, debit or credit card.
The authority has released the common merit list for MP M.Tech 2024 admission for rounds 1, 2 and 3 online. Candidates shortlisted will be eligible to participate in the MP MTech counselling process.

Students aiming for postgraduate engineering programmes through MP M.Tech 2024 counselling can check the detailed process below.
Firstly, candidates must select the colleges and courses in order of their preference.
They will then be required to report at the concerned institute as mentioned in the admission slip issued by the competent authority.
At the institute, where candidates will be allotted seats, they will have to pay the remaining fee and complete the other admission-related formalities.
Reserved category candidates will be given preference at the time of counselling. They will be called in the order as - ST, SC, ST, OBCs, ST/ SC.
If seats remain vacant after allotting to the reserved category, the unreserved or general category will be invited.
In case the seats remain vacant after round 2 of counselling, third round will be held separately. These rounds will be held either based on marks scored by candidates in GATE or on the qualifying exam.
Candidates can check the list of MP MTech participating colleges from the official rule book. Applicants at the time of counselling have to select the colleges from the list of 130 MP M.Tech 2024 participating institutes.

Unfortunately, since you fall short of a very small percentage, you won't be able to qualify this time. You can consider getting admitted without a scholarship or retake the examination once again and improve your score and then do the MTech program along with a scholarship.
