Registration: Candidates can apply for the admission process online once the conducting body has released the application forms. To register themselves candidates need to authenticate their application by entering the following details:

Once done with filling these details, applicants then need to generate a password using JEE main roll number as the login id. Candidates can then login into their account and move ahead with the registration process.
Registration fee payment: Once the candidate has successfully entered all the required details, then can complete the application fee by paying the required registration fee online or through e-challan in SBI branch. The registration fee will be non-refundable.

Candidates who have successfully registered and paid the application fee can only participate in the counselling process. JAC Chandigarh will hold the counselling process in 4 rounds namely Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 and spot round. All the applicants seeking admissions in JAC Chandigarh B.Arch 2019 need to first appear for document verification as per the schedule before appearing for online counselling. Candidates who have not been allotted any seat till the third round can show their willingness for the spot round by depositing a participation fee of Rs. 40,000.

The counselling process will be conducted online which will involve choice filling, mock counselling etc. Spot round will be the final phase of counselling and all registered candidate will be eligible to participate irrespective of the fact that they have also participated in previous rounds of counselling. Here are some important aspects of online counselling that the students need to be aware beforehand:
Online Choice Filling
Choice filling is optional for students applying for Architecture courses. Only one choice will be considered automatically for architecture students after successful registration.
Based on the number of registered candidates and choice filled them the authorities will provide students a general idea about the seat that may be allotted to them.
Choice Locking and Printout of Locked Choices
Candidates need to lock their choices in order to get them considered at the time of counselling. After pressing the lock button students need to confirm their password for successful locking.
General Rules for Seat Allotment
In this step, the choices made by the applicants will be processed centrally and seats will be allotted to the candidates. The results for the same will be available online and selected candidates will also be communicated the same via SMS on their registered mobile number. Candidates who have been allotted seat in this step need to complete the following:
Submit the admission fee either online or through e-challan
Online submission of willingness for upgradation (choose between YES or NO)
Students will then be provided online provisional admission letter. In case students do not pay the admission fee, their seat allotment for JAC Chandigarh B.Arch 2019 will be cancelled automatically. Candidates who will withdraw their provisional admission will not be eligible for further rounds of counselling except the spot round.
First Round of Counselling
In the first round of counselling the students will have to apply for their seats once the result is declared on the website. Students need to pay the admission fee in order to secure their seat and get admission. Candidates do not go to the colleges or university for admission, the entire process will be done online.
Second Round of Counselling
Those candidates who could not get seat in the first round can check the results again at the time of second round counselling. Candidates who have not paid the admission fee in the first round or have withdrawn their provisional admission are not eligible for this round.
Third Round of Counselling

After all the 3 rounds of counselling students need to physically report to the institutions where they have been allotted admission to complete the admission process and eventually start attending classes.
