Questions related to CCET Chandigarh
What to prefer: JIIT (ECE),PEC(Metallurgy) or CCET (ECE)?
dhawananil , From some research on internet about all three colleges I found that some order which is best in all terms like placement, fees, infrastructure and all are:
- JIIT (ECE)
- CCET (ECE)
Hope you understand and it will be helpful for you :)
What to prefer:CCET(ECE) or JIIT(ECE)
Hello dhawananil , From some research on internet about both colleges I found that JIIT for ECE is better college than CCET ECE because there placement is good and infrastructure is also good only fees is more here.
Hope you understand and it will be helpful for you :)
Should I choose ECE from CCET or Metallurgy from PEC for a girl from Chandigarh. Is it common for girls to opt for Metallurgy.
College-wise between CCET and PEC , PEC seems to be better choice in terms of placement, learning experience and reputation , so it is definitely a better choice over CCET. But more than the college , your interest and skills matter while choosing a course. So you need to see what your career goals are and choose accordingly . Both ECE and metallurgy are good for both boys and girls.Since metallurgy is a mechanical engineering field the crowd will be male dominant , so you may have to work extra hard to find your way but you may choose the course if you have a clear plan about the future and how you will work towards your goal.
So if you think you want metallurgy then first , research well about the course and study about its job opportunities and think whether it will suit your conveniences .ECE on the other hand is very common branch and mostly if you do not get a core field job , you will end up in IT sector , so see whether metallurgy has this kind of a backup option in case you are unable to find core field jobs. But , again college wise , I would suggest PEC is better so in case you do not want metallurgy and if you get any other branch then go for it.
All the best
Which choice should I fill as my first preference: biotechnology of uiet or ece of ccet (JEE Mains Rank : 94464 from Chandigarh ,Female child).
i have 52235 rank in jee mains, can i get cse or it in uiet, punjab university, chandigarh?
There are possiblities in branches like EEE, BIO TECH & MECHANICAL but you have to wait till the spot round.
IT & CSE is quite difficult but don't loose hope .
