JAC Chandigarh B.Tech Counselling 2025 - The Joint Admission Committee Chandigarh has announced the JAC Chandigarh counselling 2025 dates on the official website, jacchd.admissions.nic.in. Candidates can check the complete JAC Chandigarh B.Tech counselling dates on this page. The authority is conducting the JAC Chandigarh 2025 registration process from April 29, to June 21, 2025. The authority will conduct the counselling for candidates who have cleared the JAC Chandigarh 2025 cutoff. Candidates will be required to submit the college choices during the JAC Chandigarh 2025 choice filling. Based on the preferences submitted by the candidates, the authority will release the JAC Chandigarh 2025 seat allotment. The counselling will be based on JEE Main scores, choice-filling and seat availability.

Here are the steps for the JAC Chandigarh B.Tech counselling process in 2025:
1. Registration: Candidates will need to register for JAC counselling 2025 on the official website and provide their personal information, including their JEE Main 2025 application number and contact details. They must also generate a password for future use. The following details have to be submitted by the candidates:
Place of the school from where the candidate has appeared for the qualifying examination (Chandigarh/ Outside Chandigarh)
Obtained total marks in the 10+2 (or equivalent) qualifying examination
Sub-category (ies) as appearing on the registration form
Category of the candidate (General, BC, SC, ST)
Candidates will then have to pay the non-refundable application fee through online mode (net banking/debit card/credit card) or offline mode (e-challan).

2. Document Verification: Certain categories of candidates must report for document verification, including those with medical conditions, belonging to specific categories, or from certain areas.

Candidates should also note that original as well as a set of relevant affidavit(s)/undertaking(s)/self-attested photocopies have to be carried.
3. Choice Filling: Candidates must select their preferred college and course from a list of choices provided. They can change or add choices until they are locked.
4. Locking of Choices: Candidates must lock their selected choices before the final date specified by the authorities. Once locked, they cannot be edited. If candidates do not lock or choose to fill, then he/she will not be eligible for allotment. However, they are eligible to apply for the spot counselling round.
5. Seat Allotment: Seats will be allotted based on merit, preferences, category, and availability. Selected candidates must confirm their admission by paying the tuition fee and verifying their documents.
The registration fee once paid will not refundable.
The registration fee for general candidates is ₹2800/-
Candidates failing to fulfill the minimum academic eligibility criteria will not be allowed to participate in Spot Round of counselling.
