See, preparatory courses are offered to those student who the IITs think that if we invest an year on these students, then these students may perform very well if they are admitted in the normal B.Tech programmes offered by the various IITs. So, if you have been selected by IIT Bombay in the preparatory course, then you'll have to do your course from IIT Bombay itself, and not IIT Gandhinagar.

The sports facilities in IIT Gandhinagar is commendable. They have we'll maintained football court, outdoor basketball, cricket field with nets for practice, indoor table tennis courts. Swimming pool facilities, fully air-conditioned gyms are also available. There is also a swimming pool and training is given by qualified instructors.

If we talk from placement point of view, nit Warangal mechanical has better placements than iit Gandhinagar mechanical. Going to iit Gandhinagar will give you a iitian tag but certainly nit Warangal mechanical is a better option.

I will suggest to go for IIT ropar or IIT mandi and study coding IIT will provide you oppotunites and if you do not want to study coding the i will suggest to go for NIT rourkela as the placement of electronic branch are good .
