GATE 2027 Registration Fees- IIT Madras has released the GATE registration fee 2027 details on the official website, gate2027.iitm.ac.in. As per the latest update, the GATE 2027 application fee is 2000 for general category male candidates. Aspirants will be required to pay the application fees online only. However, for SC/ST/PwD and female applicants, it is Rs 1000 only. Note that the authority levies an additional Rs 500 as late fee. The GATE application form will begin on August 27, 2026. The GATE 2027 registration will commence on August 27, 2026. The entire process is online. Candidates can check the steps to fill out the GATE application form 2027 below.
Aspirants must either create an account in DigiLocker. Else they have to update the already existing DigiLocker account.
Visit the official GATE site, gate2027.iitm.ac.in.
They have to click on the new registration link.
Enter the basic details and register using a mobile number and email ID.
Now, candidates can log in to the GATE application portal using the enrollment ID and password.
Provide general personal, academic, and contact details.
Students have to enter some other details for the GATE exam, such as choice of examination cities, paper selection and two paper combinations, etc.
Click Live photo and upload a recent photo and signature as well.
Applicants will be required to upload other documents specified by the concerned authorities.
