IIT Delhi Placements

Established in 1961, IIT Delhi remains as one of the top IITs in India. The NIRF 2024 ranking of IIT Delhi is 2nd. Around 89.41% BTech students have been placed during IIT Delhi placement 2023-24. Out of 1059 offers, 50+ placement offers were from international organisations. Some of the top recruiters include Air India, Microsoft, Texas Instruments, Goldman Sachs, Bajaj Auto, and Ola Electric.

According to the IIT Delhi placements 2022-23, students at the campus bagged around 650 full-time job offers and around 550 unique job selections. IIT Bombay Placements

IIT Kanpur was established in 1959, and has been ranked No.4 among engineering Institutes by NIRF in 2023. As per phase 1 IIT Kanpur placement report 2023-24, 74 international offers have been made which is approximately 57% more as compared to last year. IIT Placements: Procedure

The Indian Institute of Technology are 23 in number. The IIT placements are held in different phases. The process usually starts in the month of August in most colleges and continues till May, next year. Major companies visit the IIT Campuses during the initial phase itself. Most of the colleges follow the given modes of placements.

• Pre Placement Offers (PPOs)- The job offers provided after internships come under this category.
• On-campus tests- Students have to take written tests and sit of interviews to be eligible for IIT placements.

Here is the general IIT Placement procedure. however, the exact process may vary from college to college.

• Step 1- Invitations: The placement authority sends out the invitations to companies, which include the IIT Placement brochure, JAFs etc. The body also points group of students and faculties to act as facilitators of the IIT placement process.
• Step 2- Recruiters: Interested companies must form a login at the college's placement portal. The recruiters contact the placement cell and will have to fill in Job announcement forms. to provide confirmation.
• Step 3- The training and placement office (TPO) of the respective college will decide on the PPT (pre placement talks) data and inform both, the recruiters and students.
• Step 4- Pre-Placement Talk: The companies provide job-relevant information like the work profile, growth prospects and salary details.
• Step 5- Willing students will have to register and send their resumes to the desired company through IIT placement portal. Recruiters shortlist candidates and visit the campus for final selection.
• Step 6- Final selection- IIT recruiting companies visit the college to conduct written tests, group discussions/interviews for the shortlisted students. Sometimes, the selection process can be held in online mode as well.
• Step 7- The organization/ placement company will release the final list of selected students who have been successfully placed.
