Yes. You can provide that you have passed  BE / B Tech / B Sc (Engineering) in the prescribed discipline with a minimum 60% marks.

Q: In my Degree Certificate, only CGPA / GPA / SGPA or letter grade is mentioned . How can I enter the grade in my application?
    A:

In such a case, applicants should follow the conversion table of the Institute / College / University from wherever they have passed. During the interview, they will be required to produce the authenticated conversion table from the Institute / College / University. If this is not available, the standard formula provided by AICTE will be applied to derive the percentage of marks

    A:

You may have registered for DND (do not disturb) and hence it may be in the TRAI NCPR. This means that you will not receive SMS alerts related to the registration. If you want to receive future SMS alerts from NPCIL, please remove your mobile number from the NCPR list through your service provider.

Q: I have completed a 5 years integrated (dual degree). What should I fill in my application form?

On Question asked by student community

Have a question related to GATE ?

Every PSU has different cut-off marks and eligibility. Hence, it is suggested to apply for PSU after checking the eligibility. Also, they do not reveal the marks of the finally selected candidates. So, wait for the final merit list.

Yes. You can. GATE eligibility specifies that students in their 3rd year and above can appear for the exam. Since the results are valid for 3 years, you can use the same for your admissions.

If you score 500 marks in GATE2026, your chances of getting into good engineering colleges (especially NITs, IIITs and some older IITs) are strong for most disciplines, while top branches like CSE/EEE/ECE at older IITs may still require higher ranks. Your GATE AllIndia Rank (AIR) with 500 marks usually falls
