About SRMJEEE PG 2020

SRM Institute of Science and Technology will conduct SRMJEEE PG 2020 in May third/fourth to invite admissions into various programmes of M.Tech in the institute. The authorities have started the online application process of SRMJEE PG 2020 from December 11. The institute will offer various M.Tech courses through SRM Joint Engineering Examination like M.Tech in Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics, Electrical, Food processing, etc. It must be noted that fulfilling eligibility criteria for the respective course is mandatory to apply. SRMJEEE PG 2020 or Valid score in GATE & TANCET will be considered for the admissions in the institute. The eligible candidates will be called in for counselling and will be allotted seats on the basis of their scores and seat availability.

   The candidate applying should be an Indian National. Resident Indian, Non-Resident Indian (NRI), holder of PIO or OCI Card issued by Government of India will also be eligible for admissions.

  • Candidate should have a degree of B.E / B.Tech. in Civil / Civil Infrastructure Engineering. / Architectural Engineering with a minimum aggregate of 50%

  • Those candidates who have qualified TANCET or GATE examination will also be eligible for admissions on the basis of their secured scores with an exemption to appear in SRMJEEE PG.

SRMJEEE PG 2020 Application Process

The application process of SRMJEEE 2020 includes filling and submitting the application form along with the payment of application fee. The application form has to be filled online by registering on the website and completing the payment process online. Another way to submit the application form is to download it and send the completely filled form along with the Demand Draft in favour of " SRMIST", payable at Chennai to the following address:

The following steps have to be followed while completing the application procedure of SRMJEEE PG 2020:

  • Step 1- Register online: The first and foremost step is registering online by entering the required details like name, contact details, city and state, password, etc.
  • Step 2- Filling up the application form: After successful registration, the application form has to be filled completely by entering all the asked details including personal details, academic details, GATE/TANCET scores, etc
  • Step 3- Uploading of images: The scanned images of the photograph and signature has to be uploaded in the prescribed format.
  • Step 4- Application fee payment: The application fee can either be paid online by using debit card/credit card or net banking or offline by sending a demand draft as mentioned above.
  • Step 5- Form submission:  After the fee payment, the application form of SRMJEEE PG has to be submitted. If the application fee has been paid online then the application procedure ends here but if the offline mode has been used to pay the fee then the print out of the form has to be sent along with the demand draft to the address mentioned above.

Marking Scheme

3 marks will be rewarded for every correct answer. There will be no negative marking for the wrong responses.

Mandatory Section

There will be ten questions of Mathematics which will be compulsory to attend except in Bio-Technology and Food Processing.

SRMJEEE PG 2020 Mock Test

Mock tests of SRMJEE PG should be practised to self-evaluate the preparation level and have a quick revision of the topics which have been covered. Solving previous year question papers and sample papers along with the mock tests gives a clear idea about the questions which have a high frequency of occurring in the examination.

SRMJEEE PG 2020 Admit Card

Once the process of slot booking is completed, the hall ticket for SRMJEEE PG 2020 will be generated which has to be downloaded by logging in using the required credentials. The hall ticket is a mandatory document to be carried in the examination hall. All the details mentioned on it must be checked before taking a print out. The following details will be mentioned in the SRMJEEE hall ticket 2020:

  • Name of the candidate
  • photograph
  • name and address of the exam centre
  • date and timings of the exam.

SRMJEEE PG 2020 Slot Booking

The registered candidates will have to book the slot of the exam to generate the SRMJEEE PG hall ticket. It must be noted that the slot booking will be done on the basis of first come first serve, therefore the candidates are required to be quick to book the slot of their choice. 

Steps to follow for SRMJEEE 2020 slot booking process.

  • The application number and date of birth has to be entered for logging in.

  • The centres and timings along with the online test dates will be displayed on the screen.

  • Candidates have to select the preferred slot and centre according to the preference and availability. Selection of the preferred slots and centres has to be done according to the availability.

  • The booked slot then has to be confirmed.

SRMJEEE PG 2020 Result

The result of SRMJEEE PG 2020 will be declared tentatively in the fourth week of May. The result will contain the scores and the rank secured by the candidate. Candidates will be called for counselling on the basis of the SRMJEEE PG result 2020. It is necessary to qualify in the exam to get a seat allotted. 

Steps to Download SRMJEEE PG Result 2020

  • The candidates will have to enter their application number, date of birth and the programme for which they have applied.

  • After entering the details, result of SRMJEEE PG 2020 will be displayed on the screen.

  • Candidates are required to download the result and take a print out for the future reference. 

SRMJEEE PG 2020 Counselling

Mode of Counselling: Offline

The qualified candidates will be called for the counselling of SRMJEEE PG 2020 on the basis of the scores in the entrance exam. Candidates will have to report to the designated venue along with the counselling call letter and other relevant documents within the stipulated time period for document verification and seat allotment. Seats will be allotted on the basis of the rank of the candidates and his/her eligibility for the choice of course. After the seat allotment, candidates will have to get their documents verified and pay the required amount of admission fee through a Demand Draft in favour of SMIST payable at Chennai as a mark of confirmation of the seat.

I have a valid score in TANCET, I want to get admission in SRM university for m.tech biotechnology, do I have to register for SRMJEE PG exam?

Hey there


For Admission in SRM for mtech biotechnoly candidates need to appear for SRMJEEE (PG) examination conducted by the SRM University but yes Candidates with a valid score in GATE or TANCET need not to appear for SRMJEEE (PG) examination



So now that you have a valid score in TANCET you don't need to appear in SRM PG examination for getting admission in mtech biotechnology in SRM

how to download all year srmgeet question paper

Hello,

Question papers are not available online. They are not uploaded by the board. You have to practice as per the syllabus. You have to make your preparation strategy to cover the syllabus within due time such that you will get enough to time to test and retest yourself.

If you know any person for the institute who have appeared SRMGEET then you can ask him/her regarding the paper level and how they cracked it.

This will tell you how you should improve yourself so that you can also crack it to get an admission.

Congratulations for getting an excellent rank . With this rank of 570 you can avail a scholarship worth 50% of the tuition fees.  

You definitely have a high chance of getting admission into the main campus itself for embedded  systems . You would also be called for the first counselling itself . The official 2019 cutoffs aren't released yet.
