Hello,
Yes, you can get admission to **IISc Bangalore** through **JEE Mains** for its **B.Sc. (Research)** program. However, IISc also accepts scores from **JEE Advanced**, **NEET**, or **KVPY** for the same program. If your JEE Mains rank is exceptional, you may secure admission. JEE Advanced is not mandatory unless you wish to use it as an alternative score. Check IISc's admission criteria and cutoffs for clarity.
Hope this helps you,

As the correction Window for JEE mains has closed it will be difficult to make changes in the information you provided the incorrect state of the information might affect eligibility for the Delhi quota. What you can do is contact NTA anD talk to them and explain this situation to them. They might provide your solution but still prepare for other options to because there is a greatest chance this my can't get resolved . Also keep proof of your situation that you have sent mails and the lack of trying wasn't the problem
You have two options to change your category from general to EWS category one is to change it through correction window of JEE mains which will open on 26,27 November.
Second is,During the second attempt JEE Main registration, you can modify your personal details including your category. To make the change, you will have to log in to your JEE Main account, make the necessary changes, and submit the updated information.
