Various terms & conditions of Punjab Govt./PSPCL including the following shall be applicable-
(i) Age Limit/Reservation- Criteria for age limit/reservation will be as per the latest instructions of Govt. of Punjab. The existing age limit is 20 to 37 years of the respective calendar year during which recruitment advertisement is given.
(ii) Knowledge of Punjabi: Qualification of Punjabi is essential. All the candidates must have passed Punjabi of at least Matriculation level or its equivalent up to the date of document checking.
Note: Relaxation to Sikh Migrants up to the extent that they will have to acquire such qualification within two years after joining service failing which their services shall be liable to be terminated.
(iii) Eligibility of students: Candidates who have completed/appeared in their final engineering/qualifying degree will also be eligible to apply but they should have completed the requisite qualification on or before the date of document checking.
(iv) Details of actual posts for recruitment & registration process: A separate notice will be published in newspapers as well as online at a later stage indicating the complete details of terms, conditions, number of posts for recruitment and guidelines for registration. It is clarified that category-wise posts for AE/OT(Electrical) may/may not be advertised for recruitment as the same will depend upon the requirement of PSPCL.

They will have to submit the GATE 2026 registration number (issued through the admit card) while filling PSPCL application form.
