Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria of the MRPL recruitment process before filling the application form. It must be noted that no candidate will be eligible for final selection if he/she does not satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria of MRPL recruitment through GATE 2020.
Age Limit as on September 19, 2020
The upper age limit for General category candidates is 28 years.
SC/ST Candidates will be given a relaxation of 5 years in age limit.
PwD candidates will be given a relaxation of 10 years in age limit.
The relaxation for Ex-Servicemen will be as per guidelines.
Candidates must have passed B.E./ B.Tech in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% (50% for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates).
Candidates who have studied five years B.E./ B.Tech + M.E./M.Tech integrated dual degree in engineering in the relevant disciplines will also be eligible to apply.
Candidates pursuing/ completed M.Tech in any disciplines, other than those advertised, will be eligible only if they have completed B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc. Engineering in the relevant discipline.
GATE 2020 scores
All candidates must have qualified in GATE 2020 in the relevant papers.
Candidates must meet the requisite health criteria that are laid down by MRPL. Candidates will also have to undergo a medical examination which will be conducted by the medical board of MRPL.
Candidates should have a working knowledge of Hindi.
Candidates working in Government / Public Sector must have minimum one year experience in the next lower pay scale
Preference will be given to candidates having in line experience in the Oil & Gas Sector/ Petrochemical Sectors.

The application form will be filled in two stages -
Submission of Application Form
Candidates will have to visit the official website and click on “Recruitment through GATE 2020”.
Next, they will be required to click on “Apply Online”.
After this, candidates will be redirected to a page where they will be required to enter details like Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Category, whether Person with Disability, whether Departmental (MRPL) employee, Educational Qualification, E-mail Id, Mobile Number, Communication Address, Declaration, etc.
After submitting the details, candidates will be prompted to check the filled details and fill/make corrections if any, otherwise submit the form.
In the next step, candidates will be required to upload the scanned images of their photograph, signature and other documents as per the specifications given by the authorities.
After this, candidates will be required to review all the entered details and make corrections, if required and finally click on the “Submit” button.
Once the candidates click on the submit button, a Registered Application Form will be generated a unique registration number. This registration number along with the date of birth of the candidates will be used as the login credentials.
After submitting the application, candidates will be redirected to the payment tab where they will have to pay the application fee of Rs 100 either in online or offline mode.
For online mode, payment can be done through debit/credit card or internet banking.
For offline mode, candidates will have to download the e-challan and pay the application fee in the nearest SBI Branch. After successful payment, candidates will have to revisit the portal and login with their registration number and date of birth. After login, they will be required to enter the transaction details in the application form to complete the payment.
After successful payment in online/offline mode, a payment slip will be generated. Candidates are advised to take a print of the payment slip for future reference.
The authorities will first shortlist the candidates on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained by them in GATE 2020. It should be noted that the marks obtained by candidate out of 100 will be considered for shortlisting the candidates. In case of the same GATE scores, candidates with higher marks in the base qualification will be given preference.
After shortlisting, candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview in the ratio of 1:5 (1 post: 5 candidates).
It must be noted that there will be no separate cutoff/ qualifying marks for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
The final selection of the candidates will be done by considering GATE scores and performance of the candidates in Group Discussion and Interview.
85% weightage will be given to GATE scores and 5 marks will be given for Group Discussion while 10 marks for Personal Interview.

Candidates must produce all mark sheets & certificates of educational qualifications from Class X onwards.
For Diploma/Degree/Post Graduation, the individual mark sheet of all semesters/years will have to be submitted. Consolidated mark sheet showing details of all semesters/ years marks and all subjects studied can be submitted in case the University is not issuing individual mark sheets for each semester/year.
Diploma/Degree/Post Graduation certificate will have to be submitted. If not, the provisional diploma/degree certificate needs to be submitted.

Candidates already employed in any Central/ State Government/ Public Sector Enterprises/ Autonomous bodies should mandatorily produce the NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE at the time of interview.
Candidates selected through MRPL recruitment process, shall be placed on probation as per Company Rules in A grade in the scale of pay of Rs.60,000-1,80,000. In addition DA (on IDA pattern), HRA/Township Accommodation, Perks & Allowances under cafeteria approach and other allowances/benefits as per Company Rules will be admissible.

For your marks your possible gate score will be in range 600-620. For this grade you have low chances for getting any of IITs. Some possible options are-
