MRPL Recruitment through GATE 2019 – Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) will conduct the recruitment through GATE 2019. Candidates who have graduated in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Electronics & communication Engineering need to have valid GATE 2019 scores to be able to apply for MRPL Recruitment 2019. Eligibility Criteria for MRPL Recruitment through GATE 2019
Age Limit as on September 19, 2019
28 years for General category
SC/ST Candidates will have 5 years of relaxation
PwD candidates will have 10 years
Ex-Servicemen- as per guidelines
- Candidates must have passed B.E./ B.Tech in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% (For SC/ ST/ PwD, it is 50%)
- Candidates who have studied five years B.E./ B.Tech + M.E./M.Tech integrated dual degree in engineering in the relevant disciplines will also be eligible
- Candidates pursuing/ completed M.Tech in any disciplines, other than those advertised for will be eligible if they have completed B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc. Engineering in one of the qualifying degree examination mentioned below in the table.
GATE 2019 scores
All candidates must have qualified in GATE 2019 in the specified papers (see the table below)
Candidates must meet the requisite health criteria that are laid down by MRPL. Candidates must be of sound health and they will have to undergo a medical examination which will be conducted by the medical board of MRPL. The decision of the board will be final.
Working knowledge of Hindi is desirable.
Candidates working in Government / Public Sector must have minimum one year experience in the next lower pay scale
Preference will be given to candidates having in line experience in Oil & Gas Sector/ Petrochemical Sectors.

How to fill the application form for MRPL Recruitment through GATE 2019?
The application form for MRPL Recruitment through GATE 2019 wil be available only in online mode.

GATE Details. Candidates will have to upload their GATE 2019 scorecard in pdf format in a file less than 100 KB
If belonging to Reserved Category - candidates will be required to upload the caste certificate in a file size within 100 kb and in .jpg/.pdf files only
If PwD, then the medical certificate will have to be uploaded in a file size within 100 kb and in .jpg/.pdf files only
Upload Recent passport size colour photograph in a file between 20kb-40kb in jpeg/jpg format and Signature (in Blue/Black ink) against a white background in a file between 10kb-20kb
- Submit the application form after reviewing the details, documents, and photo as well as signature
- Make the payment as per the given guidelines below
Application fee for MRPL recruitment through GATE 2019
The fee to be paid will be Rs 750 plus service charges. SC / ST / PWD/ Ex-Serviceman/ categories and regular employees of MRPL will be exempted from fee payment.
Candidates can pay through Internet Banking, Debit/ Credit Cards (Master/ Visa) or download the challan to pay the fee in cash at the nearest SBI branch
After successful payment a Payment Slip will be generated on screen, candidates need to take a print of that payment slip or save for further reference.
Candidates who have paid through E-challan must log in the next day after payment and enter the SBI Collect Reference Number.
- After submission, candidates will receive a unique registration number.
- Candidates who will be exempted from application fee will get a Registration Number as confirmation through SMS and/ or E-mail, which has to be used along with a combination of Date of Birth to print the Registered Application Form
All candidates must take a printout of the Registered Application Form containing the unique Registration Number
Selection Procedure for MRPL Recruitment through GATE 2019
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their GATE 2019 marks only for Group Discussion (GD) / Group Task (GT) and Personal Interview. They will have to produce the following documents in original for verification during the interview. They must also submit a set of self-attested photocopy of the same. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the GATE 2019 scores and the scores obtained in the Group Discussion/ Group Task as well as the Personal Interview.
GATE will be given 85% weightage while the Group Discussion/ Group Task and Personal Interview will be given 15% weightage.

Matriculation certificate indicating the date of birth
School leaving certificate indicating the date of birth
Municipal birth certificate
Certificate indicating the date of birth granted by the previous
Employer indicating the date of birth, if employed with Central/State Government or Public sector undertaking.

All mark sheets & certificates of educational qualifications from Class X onwards
For Diploma/Degree/Post Graduation the individual mark sheet of all semesters/years will have to be submitted. Consolidated mark sheet showing details of all semesters/ years marks and all subjects studied can be submitted in case the University is not issuing individual mark sheets for each semester/year.
Diploma/Degree/Post Graduation certificate will have to be submitted. If not, the provisional diploma/degree certificate needs to be submitted.
Caste certificate [SC/ST/OBC(Non-Creamy Layer)]
Caste certificate [SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)] issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed format to downloaded by candidates from the MRPL site
PWD certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed format of certificate

No Objection Certificate (NOC)
Candidate employed in Central/ State Government/ Public Sector Enterprises/ Autonomous bodies should produce the NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE at the time of interview. This is mandatory.
Training/ Probation: Candidates will be under probation in E1 grade in the scale of pay of Rs 24,900-50,500. They will receive additional perks like DA (on IDA pattern), HRA/Township Accommodation, Perks & Allowances under cafeteria approach and other allowances/benefits as per Company Rule
