Hy,

Deciding whether to pursue a preparatory rank for IIT Jodhpur in Chemistry with a specialization requires careful consideration of several factors. Here are some points to help you make an informed decision:

1. Understanding Preparatory Ranks:

  • What It Means: A preparatory rank usually indicates that you have not secured a regular admission seat but are eligible to take a preparatory course. If you perform well in this course, you may get a chance to enroll in the full program later.
  • Duration and Content: Preparatory programs often last for one year and may cover foundational topics to help you catch up with your peers.

2. Advantages of Joining IIT Jodhpur:

  • Reputation: IITs are among the top engineering institutions in India, and having an IIT tag can enhance your career prospects significantly.
  • Quality Education: You'll receive a rigorous and high-quality education in Chemistry, along with access to experienced faculty and research opportunities.

Hello,

To start your preparation, I would suggest familiarizing yourself with the exam pattern and syllabus of CAT. You can find this information on the official CAT website or through reliable study materials.

Next, it is  important to create a study plan and set a schedule for your preparation. Allocate dedicated time each day for studying different sections of the exam, such as Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation, and Logical Reasoning.

And also consider joining a coaching institute it is better if offline. They can provide you with guidance, study materials, and mock tests to enhance your preparation.

Hope this helps you,

Thank you

Hello Aspirant,
I hope you are doing great!Definitely BITS Pilani Campus is best for computer science engineering, considering aspects like placements and facilities and all other facilities. Cut off are also very high for CS in Pilani campus and is increasing every year.
Good luck!!!

Hello candidate!

It completely depends upon your interest and which branch you want to go for. Campus and placement wise, IIT Bombay is older and well-established but in India, scope for Aerospace engineering is not much but it is a very good branch. Computer Science from IT Jodhpur is a great choice too considering there are many opportunities currently in that field. So any IIT you choose according to your interest, you'll get great faculty, campus and job opportunities.

Hope this helps.

IF you want to pursue btech in a old conventional branch then ece at iit dhanbad is best but if you have no problem in choosing new branches then iit jodhpur artificial intelligence is also good but i wont advice to take cse at iit dharwad as it is a new iit comparatively. Overall going by brand name and branch combined iit dhanbad ece might prove to be the best option.
