The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) will conduct the university-level engineering entrance exam, BITSAT 2026 in online mode. BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test) offers admission to all eligible applicants into the three campuses of BITS. Around 2 lakh applicants appear for this examination every year making it a very sought-after entrance exam. The duration of the online examination is three hours and the objective-based BITSAT question paper is divided into four sections – Physics, Chemistry, English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning and finally Mathematics. Manipal Academy of Higher Education (earlier known as Manipal University) is responsible for conducting the annual online entrance examination for admissions into the institute. The Manipal Entrance Test (MET), previously known as MU OET, is a university-level examination that brings in over 50,000 applicants per year. The entrance exam is held in online mode and is 150 minutes long. VITEEE 2026 Details
The SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) will be conducted by the SRM Institute of Science and Technology for all eligible aspirants. The SRMJEE exam will be held in computer-based mode for admissions into the 7,000 undergraduate engineering seats available. Every year, around 1 lakh students apply for the entrance examination. The entrance examination consists of 125 questions and the applicants will have to qualify for the exam for admission into the University. name of the school/board from where you are appearing as a private candidate

If your Class 12 admit card or registration slip shows a school/centre name, use that exactly.
If your board lists you as a “Private Candidate” under the board name , then write:
CBSE – Private Candidate
(or your board name – Private Candidate)
Use the pin code of the examination centre/school mentioned on your Class 12 private candidate admit card or registration details.
If your board does not give any school address and only shows the regional office address, then use the regional office address pin code given by your board.

You should not leave the OBC-NCL certificate ID blank in the JEE Main form it can create problems later.
NTA wants the certificate details while filling the form, not just at counselling. If you can, apply for the OBC-NCL certificate immediately so you get the ID on time.
If you fail to submit the certificate during counselling, your category will shift to General. It’s safer to enter OBC-NCL only if you’re sure you’ll get the certificate before counselling.
