LatestBITSAT Application Form 2018 is Available Now

 

BITSAT 2018 will be conducted from May 16-31, 2018. The BITSAT application form 2018 has been released on December 19, 2017 and candidates can fill it till March 13, 2018. The online exam will be conducted in two slots and candidates can choose the date, venue and time according to their convenience. However, they will be allotted the slot to appear for BITSAT 2018 depending on the availability.

BITSAT Exam Pattern 2018

 

Candidates must know the BITSAT 2018 exam pattern well in advance as it will give them an idea about the type of questions that will be asked. They will also get to know  how many marks they will score for every correct answer and if there is any  negative marking. This will be part of the exam pattern of BITSAT.

  • Type of Questions – Candidates will have to answer multiple choice questions. They will have to select the correct answer from the four options that are given to them

  • Marks for Correct Answer- Candidates will score three marks for every correct answer

  • Negative Marks- For every wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

  • Mode of Language- The questions in BITSAT will be asked only in English

  • Duration of the Exam- Candidates will have to answer at least 150 questions in three hours. They can go back to any section and can correct the answer if they feel they have answered incorrectly.

 

Candidates must bring a pen with them for rough work as well as for signing. If the candidates have been able to answer all the 150 questions before the completion of three hours, then they will have the option to attempt 12 extra questions from physics, mathematics and chemistry. Four questions will be asked from each of them.

 

BITSAT Syllabus 2018

 

The syllabus of BITSAT 2018 will help the candidate sto know what the topics from where the questions will be asked in the online exam.  Once the candidates know the topics from the BITSAT 2018 syllabus, they will be able to plan their prepartaion accordingly and will be able to decide how much time they should give to each subject and topic. The BITSAT syllabus mainly comprises of topics which the students have studied from the NCERT books of physics, chemistry and mathematics of Class XI & Class XII.

Even after getting the seat it would be 3,45,000 ( including hostel)per year .so for four years it would be roughly 15 lakhs.
