Grid India/POSOCO Recruitment through GATE 2026 - Grid India, formerly known as POSOCO, will recruit executive trainees in Electrical engineering based on the GATE 2026. The authority will release a detailed notification for POSOCO 2026 recruitment through GATE on the official website posoco.in. Candidates can check the detailed eligibility criteria, selection process, compensation, and more on this page. Candidates who will qualify for the GATE exam will be able to register for Grid India recruitment through GATE 2026. The authority will release the application form a few days after the GATE 2026 result is announced. The selection process will be based on GATE 2026 only. To apply for Grid India recruitment through GATE 2026, candidates have to register using their details of GATE 2026 exam.
The GATE 2026 score will remain valid for three years from the date of result declaration.
Power System Operation Corporation Limited was renamed ‘GRID INDIA' in 2022. Candidates who qualify for the GATE Electrical Engineering paper will be eligible to apply for POSOCO recruitment through GATE. Candidates have to first choose which post they are applying for
They have to provide their GATE 2026 details like GATE Application No., Registration No., year, and scores
Following this, they have to enter their personal details, PwD details if applicable, working experience with Grid India in case of departmental candidates, mailing details, contact address, qualification details, bank details (for TA), and transparency/ relationship declaration.
Candidates have to submit and pay the application fees of Rs 500 online. However, SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex-SM/ Departmental candidates were exempted from fee payment.
Upon successful payment, candidates will be required to take a printout of the application form.
Candidates are advised to remember not to use special characters like ',$,<,>,., etc, while filling the application.
They have to fill out the OTP during the Application Process, which will be sent to their respective mobile phones.
The shortlisting of candidates will be done on the basis of their marks obtained in GATE 2026 (out of 100).
Candidates are required to log in to check their status and download the call letter.
Candidates who will be shortlisted will have to bring the documents mentioned in their interview call letter.
Candidates will have the option of appearing in Hindi for the GD/ Interview.

Pay Scale: Candidates will be paid Rs. 50000-160000 during the one-year training period. On successful completion of training, they will be absorbed as Engineers.
Service Agreement: Selected candidates will be required to execute a service agreement bond to complete the prescribed training period and thereafter serve the organization for at least three years. The bond amount is Rs. 1,00,000/- for General/ EWS/ OBC (NCL) candidates and Rs. 50,000/- for SC/ST/PwD candidates
