EWS Cutoff for JEE Mains 2026: The EWS (Economically Weaker Section) category cutoff for JEE Main is required to qualify for JEE Advanced and admission in top NITs, IIITs, and other top engineering colleges. The expected cutoffs for JEE Main EWS 2026 can be calculated in the percentile range of 80 - 82. Candidates will need a cutoff of 83 or higher to qualify for the JEE Advanced 2026 exam.JEE Main exam aspirants must have an idea about cutoffs to predict their admission chances. Further, based on the recent trends, there has been a rise in the EWS cut off compared to the previous year’s JEE Main cutoff, which was 81 percentile.
The JEE Main 2026 answer key challenge window will be open on February 4, and candidates can raise objections against the JEE Main answer key by February 5, 2026. To challenge the JEE Main provisional answer key, candidates will have to pay Rs 200 for each question they challenge.
