HURL Recruitment through GATE 2024 - The Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL) will release the HURL 2024 application form for the recruitment of fresh engineers through GATE 2024 atits hurl.net.in/recruitment. Aspirants will have to fill the application form of HURL 2024 till the last date. The recruitment is done on the basis of GATE score. It should be noted that only GATE 2024 scores are accepted for recruitment. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying for the HURL recruitment through GATE 2024. The application process for the position of fresh engineers has started at Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL). All the interested candidates should submit the form before the last date. No applications will be accepted after the last date of registration. Also, candidates should submit only one application for one vacancy and application once submitted cannot be altered.
Step 1 - Registration - Firstly, candidates will have to register themselves by providing the following details:

Step 2 - Select preferred discipline - After registration, candidates will have to log in using the email id and password. After logging in, select any one discipline out of four - Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, and Instrumentation.
Step 3 - Fill the application form - In the next step, candidates will be required to enter personal, contact, qualification, and experience details. Along with this, uploading a photograph of size less than 100 KB has to be done.
Step 4 - Declaration and submission of form - Finally, accept the declaration form and submit the duly filled application form.
The authorities will call the selected applicants for an interview round. All such candidates will have to carry the following documents along with one self attested copy.
Two recent passport size coloured photograph
High School certificate for proof of Date of Birth
Certificates of academic qualifications and statements of marks of all the qualifications for all semesters/years in graduation
Proof of identity & Address (Passport, Voter ID, Driving License, Aadhaar Card)
Any other document in support of your candidature
GATE 2024 scorecard
All the shortlisted candidates will be informed about the date, time and details of venue of the selection and all other correspondence.
Nature & Period of Engagement - All the selected candidates will be appointed as Engineers on probation basis for a period of 1 year. They will have to attend any training program provided by the company. Also, they will be liable for posting to any of the three sites of HURL viz. Gorakhpur, Barauni & Sindri as per the requirements. The probation period of the candidates failing to achieve so will be extended or further actions shall be taken.
Remuneration - Selected candidates will be placed in the L1 level with starting annual CTC of Rs.700000. They will be eligible for annual increment and performance linked increment. Also, the company provides medical insurance cover to its employees and dependent family members over and above CTC.
Service Agreement Bond - Candidates will have to execute a service agreement bond to serve the organization for a minimum of three years. The amount of the bond is Rs. 2,50,000.

You can also choose papers like IN (Instrumentation) or EC (Electronics and Communication) if you're comfortable. GATE now allows two-paper combinations EE plus IN is a valid pair.

How to clear GATE Exam :
First, know the syllabus and exam pattern.

Yes, it will be acceptable. In GATE registration, the name should match your valid photo ID proof in terms of spelling, not the order. Many Indian IDs have surname written first, while the portal generates it as first–middle–last. Since all three parts of your name (Vikash, Rameshbhai, Bhagel) are correct, there won’t be any issue. Just ensure you upload the correct ID proof. During verification, they check spelling, photo, and signature, not the word order.

Yes, you can change your category from General to OBC during the GATE 2026 correction window.
GATE always allows candidates to correct details like category. You will need to pay a small correction fee for this change. Make sure you upload a valid OBC certificate as per the format and date mentioned by GATE.
So, wait for the correction window, log in to your application, and update your category to OBC.
