Candidates will find the marks obtained in each subject, overall scores through the JEE Main 2023 April result. All India Rank (AIR) and category ranks will be available after the JEE Main 2023 April session exam. The JEE Main score shall be used for admission in NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and many other institutes. Marking Scheme for JEE Main 2023
The authorities has announced the JEE Main exam pattern 2023 comprising the marking scheme. The authorities shall consider the marking scheme while preparing the JEE Main April result 2023.
For every correct answer, candidates will be awarded 4 marks.
For every incorrect answer, there will be a deduction of 1 mark.
Total secured marks = (Total No. of correct answers x 4) - (Total No. of Incorrect answers x 1)
How is the JEE Main Result 2023 calculated?
The authorities shall calculate the marks obtained by candidates and then prepare the normalized JEE Main score as well.

Tie-Breaking Method for JEE Main 2023 April Result
There are many instances where two or more candidates obtain equal total NTA score in JEE Main. To evade confusion in such cases, the authorities have devised a special criteria for resolving the same. JEE Main 2023 merit of such candidates shall be determined in the following order:
