Hello,
JEE Main ke 75% eligibility ke liye marks calculation board ke total marks (as printed on marksheet) par based hoti hai, best of 5 nahi.
Agar aapke marksheet me total 355/500 likha hai, to wahi valid mana jayega.
Isliye agar ye 75% se kam hai, to aap JEE Main de sakte ho, par NIT, IIIT, ya GFTI admission ke liye eligible nahi hoge, unless aap SC/ST category se ho (unke liye 65% required hai).
Hope you understand.

The JEE 2026 registration is still live and the correction window will open briefly only after the registration window closes.
The JEE CORRECTION window does allow changes to the academic details in the registration in which the pdf of 10th and 12th grade marksheets is also asked for attachment.
Hello
Don’t worry, this mistake can usually be fixed. NTA opens a correction window for JEE Main forms, where you can edit details like your 10th or 12th registration number. Once it’s open, log in to the official site and correct your entry. If the correction window has already closed, you should immediately email or call NTA explaining that you entered your 10th registration number instead of the 12th. They often allow such corrections through official requests. Keep screenshots and proof of your emails for safety. Stay calm, this won’t affect your eligibility if corrected in time.
