    About IIIT Delhi M.Tech Entrance Exam 2026

    IIIT Delhi M.Tech 2026 – IIIT Delhi has commenced the IIIT Delhi M.Tech 2026 registration process on March 16, 2026. The authority has activated the IIIT Delhi M.Tech 2026 application form link on the official website, iiitd.ac.in. The authority will conduct the IIIT Delhi M.Tech entrance exam on May 3, 2026. Candidates can get PG engineering admission at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology through the entrance exam or GATE merit. Note that this year, the PGCAT-IIITD or the IIIT Delhi MTech entrance exam is being held only for admission to MTech CSE and CSE (Research). MTech programs are provided in ECE (GATE and non- GATE), CSE, CSE-R and CB at IIIT Delhi. Candidates must have completed B.tech or BE in a specified course in which they wish to get admission. They should have obtained at least 65% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination. 

    The IIIT Delhi M.Tech entrance exam 2026 will be held for 2 hours and 40 minutes. The exam has MCQs in relevant subjects (as per the selected course). Along with the exam pattern, a good understanding of the IIIT Delhi M.Tech syllabus will be beneficial to score good marks in the examination. 

    Those who clear the exam will be called for the interview. The authority will upload the IIIT Delhi M.Tech merit list 2026. The IIIT Delhi MTech result will be released online along with the merit list and seat allotment. It will be available be in a PDF format. The authority will also upload the round-wise IIIT Delhi M.tech cutoff.

    Steps to fill the IIIT Delhi M.Tech Application Form

    • Registration: The candidate will have to register using a valid email id and password. The password needs to be created as per the guidelines.

    • Uploading of documents: The candidate will next have to upload scanned images of the photograph in JPEG/JPG/PNG/GIF format.
