All the applicants must qualify the minimum eligibility criteria of BITS HD admission test 2020 in order to be eligible to final seat allotment. Candidates can refer the given table to know more about BITS HD eligibility criteria 2020.
Candidates must have passed B.E/B.Tech from a recognized University.
Candidates must have at least 60% aggregate marks in B.E/B.Tech.

Steps to fill the application form of BITS HD 2020
Step 1: Registration - In the first step, candidates will have to register by entering basic details like the name of candidate, date of birth, gender, email Id and mobile number.
Step 2: Filling of Details - In this step, candidates will have to fill the personal details like parent/guardian name, address, etc. and academic details like details of the qualifying exam, GATE scores, etc. required in the application form. Candidates will also have to select three exam centres in this step.
Step 3: Uploading of Documents - In this step, candidates will have to upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature as specified by the authorities. If a candidate is applying through GATE, he/she will also have to upload a scanned image of score card.

Step 4: Payment of Fees - In the next step, candidates will have to pay the application fee of BITS HD 2020 either through online or offline mode.

Step 5: Submission of Application Form - In the last step, candidates will have to finally submit their application form and take a print out for future reference.
BITS HD Application Form Correction - If a candidate makes a mistake in his/her application form using the “Edit” option. It must be noted that this option of editing application form will be available only before the last date of submission of application form.
The exam conducting authority will conduct BITS HD online test in 29 test centers. Candidates will also have to choose three exam centers of their choice while filling the application form of BITS HD 2020. Candidates are advised to choose the exam centers carefully as the allotment of test centers will be only the basis of preferences given by the candidates. Candidates must be aware of the exam pattern of BITS HD admission test 2020 to have an overview of the paper pattern. The authorities will conduct the slot booking of BITS HD 2020 tentatively in the first week of May. BITS HD slot booking is an online process of booking the date & time slot for the online entrance test. Candidates will be able to participate in the slot booking of BITS HD 2020 by logging in to the candidate portal by entering their application number, date of birth, gender and email Id. It should be noted that the slot booking will be done on the basis of preferences of candidates and availability of slots.
Candidates will be able to download the hall ticket of BITS HD admission test 2020 in online mode through the official website. Candidates will be able to access their BITS HD hall tickets 2020 only after slot booking. Students will be able to download BITS HD 2020 hall ticket by entering their application number and date of birth. The exam conducting authorities will release the seat allotment result after each of the four iterations. The result of the first iteration of GATE qualified candidates will be tentatively released in the first week of May. After this, result of the other 3 iterations based on BITS HD online test will be released one by one for each iteration. BITS HD result 2020 will be include the marks and qualifying status of the candidate. It should be noted that the result of BITS HD 2020 will include an admit list and a wait list. Candidates in the admit list will have to report the allotted institutes and wait list candidates will have to wait for the next round. The authorities will prepare two separate merit lists for each degree programs based on GATE scores and BITS HD admission test 2020. It should be noted that in each program, 50% of the seats will be filled through GATE/GPAT scores and other 50% by BITS HD admission test 2020 marks. The authorities will consider a cutoff score for each program based on number of applicants and availability of seats. The final admission will be on the basis of merit list.
All the selected candidates according to the allotment result will have to download their seat allotment letters by logging in to their account. After this, candidates will have to report the allotted campus as per the date & timings given in the allotment letter. Candidates must take all the required documents in original and a set in photocopy for Document verification at the campus.
