About IIITH PGEE 2020

International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIITH) was established in 1998 as the first autonomous public private institute. International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad Postgraduate Entrance Examination (IIITH PGEE) is conducted for the admission of the candidates to the postgraduate (M.Tech) programmes in IIIT-Hyderabad for the various range of specializations namely:  Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Aided Structural Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology and Bioinformatics. 

Application form of IIITH PGEE 2020 has been released on February 12. Admission in the institutes will be entirely based on the performance in the PGEE conducted by IIITH and the interview conducted thereafter. IIITH PGEE 2020 is a computer based entrance test which will be conducted in various cities across India on April 26. The result of IIITH PGEE 2020 will be released tentatively in the second week of May and counselling will start tentatively in June.

IIITH PGEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria

The admission in IIIT Hyderabad will be offered to only the eligible candidates. Candidates will be required to meet certain IIITH PGEE 2020 eligibility criteria set by the Institute. Candidates are advised to go through the eligibility criteria of IIITH PGEE 2020 before they start with for the admission process. The candidates who will not satisfy the eligibility criteria of IIITH PGEE 2020 will not be eligible for final seat allotment.

  • Candidates should have completed B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in any of the branch (CSE/EEE/ECE/Civil/Biotechnology)
  • B.Arch Candidates can also apply for the admission
  • Candidates with Masters Degree in Science/Mathematics/Computers/Information Technology/MCA programmes are also eligible to apply for the admission.
  • Candidates currently pursuing last year of their graduation course are also eligible to apply.

IIITH PGEE 2020 Application Process

Mode of Application : Online

The IIITH PGEE 2020 application form is now available in online mode. Candidates will be able to fill the application form of IIITH PGEE 2020 till March 31. Candidates will have to fill all the required details of the application form correctly. Candidates are advised to go through the following step-wise procedure to fill IIITH PGEE application form 2020:

STEP 1- Registration: Candidates will have to register by providing the personal information such as name of the candidate, parent's name, gender, address, mobile number and email address. The candidates will also have to create a password as per their choice. After successful registration, an OTP will be sent to the email address provided by the candidate.

STEP 2- Online Application Form: Next, candidates will have to log in through the online portal and fill the academic details. Apart from the academic information, candidates will also be required to provide names and details of two references, statement of purpose, photograph and resume.

STEP 3- Fees Payment: After the application form will be completely filled, candidates will have to pay Rs. 2000 as the application fees. The payment of application form will be accepted in online mode only through Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking. An email will be sent to the registered email ID of the candidate upon successful payment. It should be noted that candidates will have to pay an additional amount of Rs 50 for each additional program applied.

IIITH PGEE 2020 Admit Card

The admit card of IIITH PGEE 2020 will be released by the institute in online mode on April 13. The registered candidates will be able to download their admit card by logging into the online portal. IIITH PGEE 2020 admit card will include various details like name of the candidate, exam date & time, exam centre, etc. The candidates will be required to present the admit card to the invigilator at the time of IIITH PGEE 2020 exam. No candidate will be allowed to appear for the exam without a valid admit card.

How to download IIIT PGEE Admit Card 2020?

  • Login to the online portal by providing the User ID and Password
  • Admit card of IIITH PGEE 2020 will be displayed on the screen
  • Download the admit card and before downloading. Candidates are advised to go through the details carefully.
  • After this, download the admit card.
  • Get at least 2 prints of the downloaded admit card to present it before the invigilator and for further use during counselling.

Candidates will be able to check their result after logging into the online portal. The qualified candidates will be required to download their counselling call letter and visit the venue of counselling for the interview.

IIITH PGEE 2020 Counselling

Mode of Counselling: Offline

The qualified candidates will be required to download the call letter for counselling of IIITH PGEE 2020 from the online portal. Candidates will be required to report at the designated centre for the counselling process and interview. The document verification will also be done during the IIITH PGEE 2020 counselling followed by the personal interview. 

Once the document verification is completed, candidates will have to appear for the personal interview. If the candidates gets through the personal interview, he/she will be allotted a seat. The candidate who has been allotted the seat will have to pay the tuition fees for the course in order to confirm the admission in the IIIT Hyderabad.

JEE Main paper 1 contains 75 question physics chemistry and Mathematics each 25 question with a maximum marks of 300.

While JEE Main paper 2, in B.arch  a total of 77 question with Max marks of 400,for b.planning it's 100 question for 400 marks.

there is no such course in undergraduate stream, but if you see the semester wise curriculum for M.Tech CSE, then you have the option to choose AI, as a stream.
