The IIT Guwahati GATE 2026 syllabus is available in the PDF format for all the subjects. Candidates can download the GATE 2026 syllabus from the official website. The GATE syllabus is available for all 30 papers. The exam papers include General Aptitude, Engineering Mathematics, and core subjects from the undergraduate engineering programme. The General Aptitude section will have the same syllabus and question pattern regardless of the chosen engineering discipline. This section contributes 15 marks out of the total 100 in each GATE paper, and holds 15% weightage in the GATE question paper.
