GATE Schedule 2025 - Highlights

  • The GATE 2025 exam is held for 3 (4 hours in case of candidates availing compensatory time),

  • After the completion of the examination duration, the test will terminate automatically.

  • Candidates are permitted to occupy their allotted seats 40 minutes before the scheduled start of the exam.

  • Candidates can log in and start reading the instructions 20 minutes before the start of the exam.

  • No one is permitted to log in after 30 minutes from the scheduled start of the exam.

  • Candidates are not allowed to leave the exam hall before the scheduled end of the exam.

I had opted to be considered under both the HD Test and GATE Score for admission under BITS. After the first iteration, I have already been allocated to a program that was my first priority. Also completed the fee payment process. So if my admission is already done do I need to appear for exam.

  • Since you've been allocated to your first-choice program and completed the fee payment, admission is confirmed .

  • No need to appear for further exams if the admission is already finalized.

  • Double-check official BITS communication or contact the admissions office for any additional requirements.
