The first step will be registration. Candidates must enter their Name, Email, Mobile details.
They must then log in using their registered Email and password.
Thereafter, they must enter their personal, academic and address details. Care must be taken to ensure that the details match the GATE application form 2019.
In addition, they will be required to enter their GATE Registration Number mentioned in the admit card of GATE 2019.
The next step will be to upload their GATE 2019 Score Card in JPEG/ PDF format. The file size should not exceed 500 KB size each.
In addition, candidates will also have to upload the scanned copy of their passport size colour photograph, their signature in JPEG format in a file not exceeding 500 KB size each.
They will have to pay a fee of Rs 500 online. The fee only for Gen/ OBC candidates will have to be paid online. SC/ST and PWd candidates will be exempted from paying the fee
After submission of the NFL application form, a Unique NFL Application Number will be generated along with a registration slip.
Candidates will be required to take a printout of this Registration slip for future reference
The shortlisting of eligible candidates will be on the basis of the GATE scores which will be given 80% weightage. The personal interview will be given 20% weightage. The list of selected candidates will be announced after the preparation of the merit list considering the marks scored by the candidates in GATE and the personal interview.

Training/ Probation for NFL Recruitment through GATE 2019: Selected candidates will be selected as management trainees and will have to undergo one year’s training. Thereafter after successful completion of the training, candidates will be absorbed as Engineers / Officers
Pay Scale & Emoluments: During the initial one year training period, candidates will be placed in the pay scale of 16400-3%-40500 with a basic pay of Rs. 16400/-. After successful completion of the probation period, candidates will be absorbed as Engineers / Officers in the pay scale of Rs. 16400-3%- 40500 with a basic pay of Rs. 16900/.
Service Bond: Selected candidates must execute a service agreement bond of Rs. 80,000/- (Rs. 20,000/- for SC, ST and PWDs candidates) to serve the company for at least 3 years after successful completion of the training

You know what is the level of GATE which is the national level entrance exam. I would recommend you to go through the syllabus and prepare accordingly looking into the weight age of the chapters. Rest you can solve previous year question papers of your stream because that really helps to gain marks and also you can solve as many as MCQs because that it helps us to strong our concepts .
