GATE 2020 Result Analysis - IIT Delhi will release the result of GATE on March 16 at GOAPS portal. Students will be provided here the GATE result analysis for all the 25 subjects after the declaration of result. GATE score card will be available for download from the last week of March until June. GATE 2020 result analysis will point out the exam from various perspectives which include difficulty level, previous year cutoff trends, topics which are more or less covered and much more. GATE result analysis 2020 will help students to understand the exam from various perspectives eventually helping to prepare for the exam. GATE result analysis will also contain GATE cutoff for all the 25 subjects and previous year cutoff trends for various categories and subjects. GATE 2020 Result Analysis in Detail

The analysis of exam will be available here after the declaration of GATE result 2020. Students will find the GATE result analysis 2020 from various perspectives like difficulty level of exam, topics which are more or less covered in exam, expected cutoff for the year for various categories and papers along with the cutoff trends of previous years. GATE Result Analysis 2019

Students can find below the GATE 2020 result analysis from various perspectives to understand the exam.

Difficulty Level of Exam - If we look at the difficulty level of all GATE papers, questions from most papers were moderate to easy in nature. As per the review of students, questions were formulated mostly from the core topics of concerned subjects. Subject experts commented on the exam to be moderate in difficulty level with more questions requiring deeper concepts understanding.

Cutoff Trends - Most papers of GATE saw steep decline in GATE cutoff in 2019 with respect to previous years. GATE 2019 exam saw Statistics as new subject with cutoff at 32 for unreserved category. Some papers also witnessed rise in the GATE cutoff. The rise or fall in cutoff is one sign to understand the difficulty level of the exam.

GATE Score Card 2020

The score card of GATE 2020 will be available for download from the last week of March after the declaration of result. GATE score card is an important document required for admission in PG courses in all the participating institutes. Students participating in PSU recruitment through GATE 2020 will also be required to show their score card at the time of interview. GATE score card will mention details of GATE score (out of 1000), total marks obtained out of 100 (Raw Score), All India Rank of candidate in paper for which attempted in the exam, qualifying marks for all categories for the paper and the total number of candidates appeared for the paper.

What After GATE 2020

Students aiming for admission in M.Tech courses have to apply for the institute in which admission is desired. Student will also be required to register for GATE COAP to get admission in IITs and CCMT for admission in NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. Students aiming for PSU recruitment have to apply for the respective PSU. The offer of allotment for various courses or recruitment have to be followed from official portal of the institute /PSUs.

I have applied for GATE 2020 examination. I have completed my btech in 2017. I dont have degree certificate but I do have provisional certificate. I had uploaded the provisional certificate as eligibility certificate but it is showing as a defect. What should I do now?

Hello Jyoti, I have completed  my BTech. in 2014 .I also uploaded my provisional degree and status of my form is accepted.I think there is some problem with the quality of your document ,try to re-scan your degree and upload it in better quality.

How many times give Gate exam & Age criteria

Hello Nishant!! There is no age limit for a candidate to give gate exam but should have qualified degree to attend. And.. You can attempt more than one for gate exam,there is no limit for attempting also. To get a better job try to clear it in first and second attempt. From 2019 onwards , the score of gate examination is valid for 3 years. Hope the above information helps you. Prepare well for the exam. All the best!!!

GATE portal will reopen their link for correction so no need to worry. I think it has started because scrutiny message has been fabricated so i think they must have started sending the message via sms or mail.

Just be updated because they won't open it again.

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India entrance examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of the candidate in various UG subjects in Engineering/Technology/Architecture and PG subjects in Science.

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India entrance examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of the candidate in various UG subjects in Engineering/Technology/Architecture and PG subjects in Science. The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT's) jointly conduct the GATE every year. It is the qualifying entrance examination, which is conducted for admission to postgraduate (PG) courses (M.E, M.Tech, PhD) in IISc and IITs. The operations related to GATE is each of the 8 zones are managed by a zonal GATE Office at the IITs or IISc. The exam is conducted on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB)-GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.  A valid GATE score is essential for obtaining financial assistance during Master's programs and direct Doctoral programs in engineering/ technology/ architecture. As per the directives of the MHRD, the following procedure is to be adopted for admission to the post-graduate programs (Master's and Doctoral) with MHRD scholarship/assistantship. Depending upon the norms adopted by a specific institute or department of the Institute, a candidate may be admitted directly into a course based on his/her performance in GATE only or based on his/her performance in GATE and an admission test/interview conducted by the department to which he/she has applied and/or the candidate's academic record.
