GATE 2020 Result Analysis - IIT Delhi will release the result of GATE on March 16 at GOAPS portal. Students will be provided here the GATE result analysis for all the 25 subjects after the declaration of result. GATE score card will be available for download from the last week of March until June. Difficulty Level of Exam - If we look at the difficulty level of all GATE papers, questions from most papers were moderate to easy in nature. As per the review of students, questions were formulated mostly from the core topics of concerned subjects. Subject experts commented on the exam to be moderate in difficulty level with more questions requiring deeper concepts understanding.
Cutoff Trends - Most papers of GATE saw steep decline in GATE cutoff in 2019 with respect to previous years. GATE 2019 exam saw Statistics as new subject with cutoff at 32 for unreserved category. Some papers also witnessed rise in the GATE cutoff. The rise or fall in cutoff is one sign to understand the difficulty level of the exam.

The score card of GATE 2020 will be available for download from the last week of March after the declaration of result. GATE score card is an important document required for admission in PG courses in all the participating institutes. Students participating in PSU recruitment through GATE 2020 will also be required to show their score card at the time of interview. GATE score card will mention details of GATE score (out of 1000), total marks obtained out of 100 (Raw Score), All India Rank of candidate in paper for which attempted in the exam, qualifying marks for all categories for the paper and the total number of candidates appeared for the paper.
Students aiming for admission in M.Tech courses have to apply for the institute in which admission is desired. Student will also be required to register for GATE COAP to get admission in IITs and CCMT for admission in NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. Students aiming for PSU recruitment have to apply for the respective PSU. The offer of allotment for various courses or recruitment have to be followed from official portal of the institute /PSUs.
