DTE Maharashtra has released MHT CET 2018 application form as on January 18 in online mode, can be filled by candidates by following the steps mentioned in how to fill MHT CET application form 2018. Candidates who want to register themselves for the entrance exam will have to follow the steps as given in how to fill MHT CET 2018 application form to avoid mistakes and whole procedure to go smooth and hassle-free. The steps to fill the application form of MHT CET 2018 includes registration, filling of required details, uploading of scanned documents, payment and acknowledgement page download. Candidates are required to fill the application form of MHT CET 2018 very carefully to avoid rejection by the authorities. It is important to take the application form filling procedure of MHT CET sincerely because only those candidates who will submit their forms successfully will get admit cards. Such candidates who will possess valid MHT CET 2018 admit cards will be allowed to appear in the exam.

Candidates must note that the last date to submit the application form along with the prescribed fee was March 25, 2018. However, th e last day to submit the application form along with late fee of Rs 500 is from March 26 till April 4, 2018. The entrance exam of MHT CET 2018 is scheduled to be conducted on May 10, 2018 in offline mode.

How to fill MHT CET application form 2018


Candidates must read the steps given below to fill and submit MHT CET 2018 application form in an organised manner.


Step 1 – Registration


Candidates will have to register themselves and provide the required details.Candidate will have to agree whether he or she is an Indian citizen or not.


Moving on, they will be required to fill the following personal details:

  • Full name (as appearing on the statement of marks of SSC 10th or equivalent exam)

  • Father's name

  • Mother's first name

  • Last name

  • Gender

  • Address for correspondence

  • House No/ Street

  • Area Name

  • Town/ City 

  • State

  • District

  • Pincode

  • Country

  • Mobile Number

  • Primary Email Id (Email will be sent to this email ID)

  • Alternate Email Id (Parent's Email ID, if available)

  • Contact Telephone No. (with STD Code)

  • Permanent Residence in Village/ Town/ City

  • Domicile of Maharashtra / Disputed Maharashtra Karnataka Border (MKB) / Outside Maharashtra




  • Category of candidate (Caste recognized in Maharashtra state)

  • Candidates belonging to SC, ST, VJ(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC & SBC categories must possess their respective caste certificates

  • Candidates belonging to Non Creamy Layer (NCL) will have to produce valid certificate upto March 31, 2019


Other Details

  • Whether the candidate belongs to – PWD category or not (candidates eligible who are eligible under this category should have less than 40% disability), blind, low vision. Orthopedically handicapped and candidates affected with Cerebral Palsy and Dyslexia, who are not in a position to write, can avail a scribe / writer for the MHT-CET 2018 exam

  • Whether the candidate is an J&K migrant or not

  • Religion

  • Other entrance exams that candidate has registered for (JEE Main/ NEET/ None)

  • Total Annual Family Income

  • Aadhaar Number



Bank Account Details

  • Name of the account holder as per Bank record

  • Name of the Bank

  • Name of the Bank Branch

  • Type of Account (Savings/ Current)

  • Bank Account Number

  • IFSC Code



Details of HSC (12th/ Equivalent Examination)

  • Whether candidate has passed / appeared for diploma in Pharmacy (only for Biology candidates)

  • Place from where candidate has completed HSC (12th)/ equivalent exam appearing/ Passed from school / Jr. College situated (Maharashtra/ Outside Maharashtra)



Details required for MHT-CET 2018

  • Subjects for CET examination (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology)

  • Language for the exam (English, Marathi, Urdu)

Note - Marathi and Urdu can only be chosen if medium of instruction was Marathi/ Urdu in HSC/ 12th




Enter password

  • Candidates will have to create a password (minimum 8 and maximum 15 characters and must have one upper case, one lower case and one numeric)

  • After entering the password, candidates will have to confirm it. This password will be used for future logins.


Declaration by the candidate

  • Candidates will have to read the declaration written and then click on “I Agree”

  • Candidates need to enter the security key as provided and then click on “Next” button



Step 2 – Confirmation & Submission


After filling the above mentioned details, candidates will be able to check the information filled and edit certain things in the application form.


Candidates can go back and change or edit the following particulars (as visible in green color) before submission :

  • Exam centre

  • Subjects chosen

  • Language of the exam

  • Person with disability option

However, there are particulars (as visible in blue color) that cannot be edited at this stage once submitted :

  • Father's name

  • Last name

  • Date of birth

  • Mobile number

  • Email ID

After making the changes, if required, candidates will have to submit the form.




Step 3 – Application number received


Candidates will receive a message on the screen regarding successful registration for MHT CET 2018 with their application number. The same number will be sent to their provided email ID. Candidates can view and verify their entered information in this step.




Step 4 – Edit & Upload photograph and signature


Candidates will be able to edit the details they have filled in the application form. However, they still will not be able to edit their full name, father's name, last name, date of birth, mobile number and email ID. If candiadtes don't want to edit any details, they can choose to move to the next step of uploading their photograph and signature in the format prescribed by the authorities.




Step 5 – Uploading photograph and signature


Candidates will have to upload their recent passport size color photograph and signature in the format given in the table below. In case, candidates are not able to upload the correct photos/ signatures, they will have to reload the correct files and then upload.

Step 6 – Verification


Candidates will get a message on their screens regarding successful uploading of photograph and signature. They will also be able to see a link saying “Click here to make payment”. Candidates will have to click on the link to enter the payment gateway.




Step 7 – Payment details


Candidates will be able to see all the details filled by them along with their uploaded photograph and signature on their screens. The application fee amount will also be visible in this step, which they will have to pay after reading the declaration. It is to noted that candidates will be able to change their subjects they are applying for.

Step 8 – Making of payment


Candidates will be able to make application fee payment through credit/ debit card, net banking, debit card (ATM PIN), wallets and more. They will have to make payment of the application amount with convenience fee and tax.




Step 9 – Transaction details


After payment of application fee, candidates will be able to see a message on their screen regarding success of transaction. Candidates must take a print out of this page.




Step 10 – Acknowledgement page


Candidates must take a print out of the acknowledgement page and keep it safely for future use.
