MHT CET Counselling through JEE Main 2026: The State CET Cell, Maharashtra, has extended the MHT CET counselling registration for JEE Main candidates till July 19, 2026. Candidates can apply for the MHT CET counselling registration for JEE Main on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. They must have uploaded their JEE Main 2026 scores to their DigiLocker account. Then, the JEE Main marks will be fetched directly from DigiLocker. The authority will now release the provisional MHT CET merit list on July 22, 2026 (revised). The MHT CET 2026 counselling process includes registration, document verification, publication of the merit list, choice filling and locking, seat allotment, and reporting to the allotted institute. Candidates are advised to complete the registration within the prescribed deadline to be considered for admission.

MHT-CET is a computer based test conducted only at allotted exam centers, not from home or personal PCs, Students from outside Maharashtra can appear for the exam at selected centres during application. Non-Maharashtra candidates usually can't claim state quota seats through CAP and often use JEE Main scores instead.
