    Kerala Polytechnic Result 2026- DTE, Kerala will declare the Kerala Polytechnic 2026 final rank list in June 2026. The authority will activate the Kerala Polytechnic rank list 2026 link on the website, polyadmission.org. To check the Kerala Polytechnic result 2026, use the application number and date of birth. Candidates will be able to check the provisional rank list of Kerala Polytechnic 2026 through the result.     Kerala Polytechnic 2026 Result/Rank List

    The authority will activate the link to check the Kerala Polytechnic result on the official website. Candidates who are included in the Kerala Polytechnic rank list can participate in the counselling process. Kerala Polytechnic counselling 2026 will be held in two rounds. Candidates must complete Kerala Polytechnic registration to participate in the counselling process. Department of Technical Education will conduct the Kerala Polytechnic Admissions 2026 to offer admission to the following two diploma courses:

    • Stream 1 - Diploma course in Engineering & Technology

    • Stream 2 - Diploma in Commercial Practice/Diploma in Computer Application and Business Management

    How to challenge the Kerala Provisional Rank List/Result 2026?

    The admission authorities will release the provisional Kerala Polytechnic rank list to allow candidates to challenge it if they find any errors or mistakes in it. To challenge or make a complaint, candidates will have to get in touch with the principal of the Polytechnic College where the application was submitted within three days of the release of the provisional rank list/result for Kerala Polytechnic 2026 or before the last date. Challenges made after the last date will not be entertained.

    • Visit the official website and click on the link on the provisional rank list
    • Log in to the redirected page using the application number and date of birth
    • After a successful login, the Kerala Polytechnic rank list will be displayed on the screen.
    • Download the list and take a printout of it.

    Selection Procedure of Candidates

    The selection of candidates for Kerala Polytechnic Admissions 2026 will be based on marks/ grades that the candidate will secure in the SSLC/THSLC or equivalent exam. If the qualifying exam is based on the old system i.e. not based on grade then the marks obtained by a candidate in the qualifying exam will be converted to 9 points absolute grade. The procedure to convert marks into a 9-point absolute grade is given below.

    Note - Candidates who will pass a qualifying exam (old system) with less than 30% marks for individual papers and are eligible for studies, then they will be considered to have passed with D+ grade.

    How Kerala Polytechnic Result/Rank List 2026 will be prepared?

    • SITTTR will publish the rank list of the centralized allotment in online mode.
    • For stream 1, Kerala Polytechnic results will be prepared according to the score index for stream 1. Depending upon the rank list prepared for respective programs, seats will be allotted to candidates.
    • For stream 2, the Kerala Polytechnic 2026 rank list will be prepared according to the score index for stream 2. Depending upon the rank list prepared for respective programs, seats will be allotted to candidates.

    Tie-breaking Procedure of Kerala Polytechnic Admission 2026

    Many times, a scenario arises in which the index score secured by two or more candidates is the same. In such cases, the authorities consider the tie-breaking process to merit rank for those candidates and then the final Kerala polytechnic result 2026 will be declared.

    Stream 1

    • Candidates who secured a higher Average Grade Point (AGP) in Mathematics will be given preference. (AGP of different papers will be considered if two or more papers are included for the subject in the qualifying examination)
    • Higher Average Grade Points (AGP) in Physics will be given preference. In case, physics is not a separate subject then AGP for science will be considered.
    • Higher Average Grade Point (AGP) in English will be given preference (Average Point of different papers if more than one paper is included for the subject in the qualifying examination).
    • If the authorities still fail to prepare a merit rank list, then a candidate who is older in age will be placed higher.

    Stream 2

    • Candidates who secured a higher Average Grade Point (AGP) in Mathematics will be given preference. (AGP of different papers will be considered if two or more papers are included for the subject in the qualifying examination)
    • If the authorities still fail to prepare a merit rank list, then a candidate who is older in age will be placed higher.

    Kerala Polytechnic Seat Allotment 2026

    The authority will release round wise seat allotment on June 2026. The round 1 seat allotment, along with the final rank list, will be released in the last week of June 2026. The trial seat allotment has been released along with the provisional rank list/result of Kerala Polytechnic 2026. With the help of trial allotment, candidates will have an idea about their probable chances of getting a seat according to their preferences, which will be filled in the Kerala Polytechnic 2026 application form. Candidates can then revise their choices based on the trial allotment. Candidates will get a chance to revise their preferences during every round of the counselling.

    There will be two rounds of Kerala Polytechnic admissions 2026. After two rounds, if any seats are left vacant, then there will be two spot rounds. Once the seats are successfully allotted, the candidates will have to report for admission at the prescribed date and time.
