How to fill DTE Maharashtra Diploma Application?

• Online Registration - Candidates have to visit the official website at dtemaharashtra.gov.in and click on the link to apply for Maharashtra Polytechnic 2025 admission. They will first have to register by using their valid email ID and password.

• Application Form - Candidates will have to provide personal, and academic, communication. Etc details in the online application.

• Uploading Documents - After providing the necessary information, candidates have to upload the required documents in the format prescribed by the authorities.

• Application Fee - After uploading all the required documents, candidates have to pay the application fee in online mode.

Maharashtra Polytechnic Merit List 2025

The authority has released the final Maharashtra Polytechnic 2025 merit list on July 7, 2025 on the official website. The merit list consists of candidates' names in merit order. The Maharashtra Polytechnic diploma merit list will be based on marks obtained in the qualifying exam. Candidates can check the merit list and in case of any error contact the authority. Moreover, while preparing the merit list, if two or more candidates have the same marks the following criteria shall be followed:

Tie Breaking Rule

• Candidates with a higher percentage of marks in the subject Mathematics at SSC will be preferred first

• If the tie persists, then the candidate with a higher percentage of marks in the subject Science at SSC shall be considered

• After that, a candidate having a higher percentage of marks in the subject English at SSC shall be preferred

• If the tie remains, passing HSC in the Science stream shall be considered

• If the tie remains, passing HSC with Minimum Competency Vocational Course will be taken into account

• Thereafter, the candidate who passes ITI Trade of 2 Years duration will be preferred

• At last, passing the Intermediate grade drawing exam will be the last option.

Maharashtra Polytechnic Counselling 2025

The authority has announced the Maharashtra Polytechnic 2025 round 4 seat allotment on August 5, 2025. The Maharashtra Polytechnic 2025 round 3 option entry was conducted from July 26 to 27, 2025. The seat allotment for round 2 Maharashtra Polytechnic 2025 counselling was released on July 21, 2025. The second Maharashtra Polytechnic 2025 option entry was held from July 17 to 19, 2025. The authority has announced the Maharashtra Polytechnic 2025 round 1 seat allotment on July 12, 2025. The Maharashtra Polytechnic 2025 counselling is being conducted online. The shortlisted candidates have to participate in the counselling abiding by the choice-filling and locking process. Seat allocation will be allotted based on choice filling, qualifying marks and availability of seats. Candidates will also have to undergo the process of document verification during the counselling process.

Verification of Documents

Candidates will need the following documents for verification during Maharashtra Polytechnic admission 2025:

• Proof of Indian Nationality

• Class 8 and 9 Mark sheet/ Proforma Z

• S.S.C. (Class 10) Mark sheet

• School leaving certificate after passing SSC (Standard 10)

• HSC/ HSC Vocational mark sheet and School Leaving Certificate (if applicable)

• Passing Certificate of Intermediate Grade Drawing examination (if applicable)

Freezing, Up-Gradation and Acceptance of Seats

In case a seat is allotted, candidates will have the following options for further process:

• Freezing - In case the first seat preference is allotted to candidates, then it will automatically be frozen and candidates will not be allowed to participate in the subsequent rounds of Maharashtra Polytechnic counselling. In case of otherwise, candidates will get a chance to freeze their seat if they are satisfied with the allotted seat. To freeze a seat, candidates will have to report to ARC in confirmation of the seat acceptance.

• Seat Upgradation - Candidates not offered a seat according to their first preference will get a chance to participate in the subsequent counselling rounds for a chance to get a preferred seat.
