- IIT Kharagpur: IIT Kharagpur secure a NIRF 2024 ranking of 5. As per IIT Kharagpur placement 2023-24, a total of 118 students were placed. The average salary was Rs 20.83 LPA. By receiving the highest package offer of 2.68 Crore on the first day of placement during 2022-23 IIT Kharagpur became the top IIT to do so. A total of 45 international offers were received by the students. These offers include job offers from Japan(28), Taiwan(9), US (3), Singapore (2) and others(3).
- IIT Kanpur: As per phase 1 IIT Kanpur placement report 2023-24, 74 international offers have been made which is approximately 57% more as compared to last year. So far, the highest domestic package received is INR 1.9 Cr. In all, 33 offers above INR 1 Cr have been received from various international and national organisations.IIT Kanpur top recruiters. After a gap of two years, IIT Kanpur conducted placements in hybrid mode. Approximately 250+ companies, including 35+ startups, participated in phase 1 campus hiring and offered 1200 jobs. More than 60 companies extended 208 PPOs which is 33% more as compared to last year's PPOs.

The highest domestic package received is INR 1.9 Cr. In all, 33 offers above INR 1 Cr have been received from various international and national organisations. Last year, the highest packages at the end of Phase 1 of placement season 2021-22, were USD 287,550 for international and Rs. 1.2 Cr for domestic.
4. IIT Delhi: The institute has released the placement record for the year 2023-24 on the official website. The placement record mentioned the number of students who bagged the placement and the packages offered to them.
Around 89.41% BTech students have been placed during IIT Delhi placement 2023-24. Out of 1059 offers, 50+ placement offers were from international organisations. Some of the top recruiters include Air India, Microsoft, Texas Instruments, Goldman Sachs, Bajaj Auto, and Ola Electric.
Around 650 full-time job offers and around 550 unique job selections were bagged by students by the end of Day 1. An increase of 20% in the number of job offers received has been witnessed over the last year. Top recruiters include American Express, Bajaj Auto, Boston Consulting Group, Enphase Solar Energy, Intel, Praxis Global Alliance, and Strategy&. Over 50 students bagged domestic offers with CTC of more than Rs. 1 Cr per annum. Around 20 students have received international job offers from Hong Kong, the Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

No, you don’t have to give JEE Main or Advanced to become an app developer .
Here’s what you can do:

Choose the right stream: After 10th, take the Science stream (PCM) or even Commerce/Arts if you’re confident. Science is preferred but not compulsory.

Learn programming: Start with languages like Java, Python, or Kotlin. You can learn online or join short courses.

After 12th: Do a degree like BCA , B.Sc. (Computer Science) , or B.Tech (CSE/IT) . For B.Tech, some colleges use JEE Main, but many private colleges don’t.

Build skills: Make small apps, do internships, and create a portfolio.

Keep learning: Explore Android, iOS, or cross-platform tools like Flutter or React Native.
In short, JEE is not mandatory . It’s only needed if you want to study B.Tech in top engineering colleges like IITs or NITs. You can become an app developer without JEE by taking other courses and practising on your own.

For JEE Main registration, your EWS certificate must be issued before the registration deadline.
Ideally, the certificate should be dated after April 1 of the current academic year .
NTA usually mentions the required issue date in the official JEE information bulletin. If your EWS certificate is delayed, you can upload an EWS undertaking temporarily. But you must produce a valid certificate during counseling (JoSAA), or your claim won’t be accepted.
Always get it made from your local Tehsildar/SDO office well in advance to avoid last-minute issues.
Since you passed Class 12 in 2025 with 70.2% and later improved English in the same year (July 2025) to make it 75% , you have to upload the latest marksheet that shows your improved marks . For JEE Main/Advanced and later JoSAA counselling , NTA and IITs always consider the final result after improvement . During application form filling, you can enter your updated percentage, and at the document upload stage, you should upload:

Your original Class 12 marksheet (March/April 2025)

Your improvement marksheet (July 2025) showing the revised score
Both documents are important because the improvement marksheet proves your eligibility (75% criteria) while the original shows you passed in the same year. During JoSAA document verification, candidates usually upload both marksheets together in one PDF so that authorities can clearly see the updated percentage.
In short: Use your improved percentage (75%) for eligibility and upload both old + improvement marksheets merged as a single file to avoid confusion.
In Malda district, West Bengal, the JEE Main 2025 exam centre code is WB20. Candidates from the district can choose Malda as their preferred exam centre during registration. The final allotment of centres depends on availability and preferences submitted by students. The exact number of exam halls may vary each year based on the number of applicants. Yes, it is better to get your EWS certificate ready before filling the JEE Main 2026 application . The EWS (Economically Weaker Section) certificate is used to claim reservation benefits during counseling and seat allotment. If you don’t have it while applying, you may miss the reserved quota advantage and may not be able to update it later.
To get it, you need to apply at your local Tehsildar / Revenue office with required income and property documents. Once issued, keep a scanned copy ready because JEE Main application requires uploading it. Having it prepared in advance ensures that during application and JoSAA counseling , you can claim EWS reservation smoothly without delays.
