Eligibility Criteria for Engineering Courses
Qualifying Examination: Candidates applying for COMEDK UGET must have passed Class 12th or second PUC or an equivalent examination recognized by the State or Central governments.
Subjects Studied: Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English in Class 11th & Class 12th.
Marks in Qualifying Examination: All general category candidates must have secured an aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. In addition they should have passed the subjects individually too. SC/ST/OBC candidates must have secured at least 40% marks in class 12th. All students irrespective of category must have studied Physics and Mathematics with Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology or Computer Science or Electronics as the optional subjects.
Diploma candidates are not eligible for COMEDK UGET 2020.
Eligibility Criteria for Architecture Courses
Qualifying Exam: The candidate must have passed second PUC or 10+2. Diploma (10+3) holders whose diplomas are recognized by the State or Central Governmentsare eligile to apply for COMEDK UGET.
Subjects in Qualifying Exam: Candidates who have passed second PUC or 10+2 candidate must have mandatorily studied Mathematics as one of the subjects along with other subjects.
Marks in Qualifying Exam: General category candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% marks aggregate marks in Class 12th while SC/ST/OBC candidates of Karnataka require only 45% aggregate marks.
Qualification in NATA or equivalent: The candidates should have qualified any one of the architecture entrance exams (NATA or JEE Main 2020 Paper-II or equivalent) in 2020. There will no entrance examination for the candidates applying for B.Arch degree programmes.
The authorities will release application form of COMEDK UGET 2020 tenetatively from the second week of January in online mode. Candidates were required to fill in the complete details in the COMEDK UGET 2020 application form, without which the applications were rejected. Submission of COMEDK UGET 2020 Application Form: After the payment of application fee, candidates must confirm and submit their application form. They are advised to take a printout of the same for their reference.

The Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka will determine a cutoff category wise applicable for admissions. Candidates who have secured marks equal to or more than the cutoff marks of COMEDK UGET 2020 will be eligible for admissions. COMEDK UGET 2020 cutoff will denote the opening and closing rank for each course offered by the institutes for each category. Cutoffs of COMEDK UGET will be different for the courses offered and for each category as well the institute. Candidates who have qualified in the entrance exam can particpate in COMEDK UGET 2020 counselling which is held in an offline mode through a centralised single window format. Acknowledgment of seat allotment and payment of academic fee: Candidates have to accept the seat and pay the prescribed fee to be able to participate further in the counselling process and to reserve the seat allotted. In case of upgrading, candidates must first of accept the seat allot and indicate their willingness to upgrade in the next round.
