COMEDK UGET 2020 - Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) will conduct COMEDK UGET on May 10 for admissions to B.Tech programmes in 117 engineering colleges of Karnataka. More than 2 lakh students fill the online COMEDK UGET 2020 application form that will be available tentatively from the second week of January. COMEDK UGET Eligibility Criteria 2020

Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria of COMEDK UGET 2020 before applying for the examination. The COMEDK UGET 2020 eligibility criteria is different for B.Tech and B.Arch degree programmes as specified below.

Eligibility Criteria for Engineering Courses

• Qualifying Examination: Candidates applying for COMEDK UGET must have passed Class 12^th or second PUC or an equivalent examination recognized by the State or Central governments.

• Subjects Studied: Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English in Class 11^th & Class 12^th.

• Marks in Qualifying Examination: All general category candidates must have secured an aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. In addition they should have passed the subjects individually too. SC/ST/OBC candidates must have secured at least 40% marks in class 12^th. All students irrespective of category must have studied Physics and Mathematics with Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology or Computer Science or Electronics as the optional subjects.

• Diploma candidates are not eligible for COMEDK UGET 2020.

Eligibility Criteria for Architecture Courses

• Qualifying Exam: The candidate must have passed second PUC or 10+2. Diploma (10+3) holders whose diplomas are recognized by the State or Central Governmentsare eligile to apply for COMEDK UGET.

• Subjects in Qualifying Exam: Candidates who have passed second PUC or 10+2 candidate must have mandatorily studied Mathematics as one of the subjects along with other subjects.

• Marks in Qualifying Exam: General category candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% marks aggregate marks in Class 12^th while SC/ST/OBC candidates of Karnataka require only 45% aggregate marks.

• Qualification in NATA or equivalent: The candidates should have qualified any one of the architecture entrance exams (NATA or JEE Main 2020 Paper-II or equivalent) in 2020. There will no entrance examination for the candidates applying for B.Arch degree programmes.

COMEDK UGET Application Form 2020

The authorities will release application form of COMEDK UGET 2020 tenetatively from the second week of January in online mode. Candidates were required to fill in the complete details in the COMEDK UGET 2020 application form, without which the applications were rejected. The process of applying to COMEDK starts with registration using a valid email ID and mobile number followed by filling details, uploading the images and payment of COMEDK UGET application fee. 1. Registration: Candidates must register by entering their name, date of birth, email ID and mobile number. An OTP would be sent on the registered mobile number. 2. Filling the COMEDK UGET Application Form: After the registration is complete, candidates have to login to start filling the application form. 3. Upload Documents: The next step in filling the application form of COMEDK UGET 2020 is to upload all the necessary documents such as photograph, signature, and others in the prescribed format as stated below:
   Photograph of less than 80kb in JPEG or JPG format.
   Signature has to be in 35 x 80 mm dimension of less than 80kb in JPEG or JPG format.
   Signature of Parents/Guardian has to be in 35 x 80 mm dimension of less than 80kb in JPEG or JPG format.
   Unique ID proof has to be in 35 x 80 mm dimension of less than 80kb in JPEG or JPG format.

4. Test Centre Selection: Exam was conducted in 342 test centres across the nation. Applicants must choose 3 test centres in order of their preference.

5. Application Fee Payment: After successfully submitting the application form, candidates must pay the application fee in an online mode through Net Banking or Credit Card or Debit Card.
   COMEDK UGET application fee is Rs. 1500 plus 18% GST and the convenience charges.
   Application fee for COMEDK UGET and Uni-GAUGE is Rs. 2400 plus 18% GST and convenience charges.

6. Submission of COMEDK UGET 2020 Application Form: After the payment of application fee, candidates must confirm and submit their application form. They are advised to take a printout of the same for their reference.

Candidates who have succesfully applied for COMEDK UGET 2020, can download their COMEDK UGET 2020 admit card in the first week of May. To download their admit card of COMEDK UGET, candidates must enter their User ID and password. COMEDK UGET Cutoff 2020

The Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka will determine a cutoff category wise applicable for admissions. Candidates who have secured marks equal to or more than the cutoff marks of COMEDK UGET 2020 will be eligible for admissions. COMEDK UGET 2020 cutoff will denote the opening and closing rank for each course offered by the institutes for each category. Cutoffs of COMEDK UGET will be different for the courses offered and for each category as well the institute. COMEDK UGET Counselling 2020

Candidates who have qualified in the entrance exam can particpate in COMEDK UGET 2020 counselling which is held in an offline mode through a centralised single window format. There will be two rounds of counselling followed by a spot round in case of any vacancies. Candidates participating in the counselling of COMEDK UGEt will be required to follow these steps:

• Reporting: Candidates will be required to report to the allotted venue in person.

• Document verification: Candidates will be required to bring all the necessary documents for the verification purpose without which they will not be allotted the seat.

• Biometric and photo verification and registration: Next up is biometric and photo verification, post which the candidate will be issued a COMEDK UGET registration slip.

• Seat Allotment: The candidate will have to fill three choices of colleges and course in the order of their preference. Based on the choices entered by the candidates and their COMEDK UGET 2020 rank, seats will be allotted.

• Acknowledgment of seat allotment and payment of academic fee: Candidates have to accept the seat and pay the prescribed fee to be able to participate further in the counselling process and to reserve the seat allotted. In case of upgrading, candidates must first of accept the seat allot and indicate their willingness to upgrade in the next round.
