160 engineering colleges are currently affiliated to COMEDK UGET 2018. Through the entrance examination of COMEDK UGET, the eligible candidates will be able to get admission into over 20,000 open engineering seats offered by the participating institutes. The candidates were able to access the answer key of COMEDK UGET 2018 on May 17. Using the released COMEDK UGET 2018 answer key, the candidates were able to calculate their probable scores by comparing their responses to the correct answers. Objections against the released answer key were welcomed by the authorities of COMEDK UGET till May 21. After reviewing all of the objections, the final answer key of COMEDK UGET will be published on May 25, 2018.
The admission authorities had released the admit card of COMEDK UGET 2018 on May 4, 2018. All registered candidates had to download the COMEDK UGET 2018 admit card by submitting their User ID and password. The admit card is a very important document that all candidates had to carry to the examination centre. In case, candidates failed to produce the admit card, then they were not allowed to appear for the exam. Various information such as the test admission ticket number, test centre details, timings and more was available in the admit card of COMEDK UGET 2018.
The exam conducting authority has released the COMEDK UGET 2018 mock test 6 in online mode on May 10. The first mock test was released on February 3, 2018, while the 2nd and 3rd mock tests are released on April 6. Candidates can take up the COMEDK UGET 2018 mock test and practise the type of questions which are expected to come in the actual paper. Candidates got to know the examination pattern through the mock test. The overall feel of the real examination, along with the type of questions asked and section wise breakage could be known by attempting the mock test. The total time of the mock test was 15 minutes. Unregistered candidates were able to use the mock test.
It is necessary for all candidates to meet the required eligibility criteria of COMEDK UGET 2018. If the candidate fails to satisfy the criteria, then he/she will not be considered eligible to participate in the admission process. COMEDK UGET 2018 eligibility criteria for B.E/B.Tech and B.Arch course will be different.
COMEDK UGET 2018 Eligibility Criteria for B.E/B.Tech Course
The candidates should have qualified 10+2 (or equivalent) examination from a recognized board or University by state or central government.
Should have studied Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects and any one of the optional subjects – Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology or any other technical vocational courses.
In 10+2 (or equivalent) examination, the General category candidates should have scored 45% marks while SC/ST/OBC category candidates should have secured 40% in PCM. All candidates should have also passed in each subject separately.
COMEDK UGET 2018 Eligibility Criteria for B.Arch Course
The candidates should have studied 10+2 (or equivalent) exam from a recognized University or board.
Should have passed the examination with Mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects.
Those candidates who have qualified 10+3 diploma recognized by the state or central government will also be eligible.
50% marks should have been secured by General category candidates while SC/ST/OBC candidates should have scored 45% marks in 10+2 (or equivalent) exam.
The candidates are required to have scored minimum 80 marks in NATA.
A separate application form has to be filled for B.Arch registration.
The application form of COMEDK UGET 2018 was available in online mode from January 16, for all eligible candidates. Aspirants who wished to take COMEDK UGET 2018 for admission to B.Tech programmes had to fill and submit the online application form till April 20. 2018. In case of B.Arch courses, applicants had to fill a separate application form which was available at time of counselling. How to fill COMEDK UGET 2018 Application Form
Step 1 – Registration: Details like the name of the candidate, his/her date of birth, email ID and more had to be provided for registration. The generated registration number had to be saved for future use.
Step 2 – Filling the Application Form: The candidates had to fill their personal, academic and contact information. All details entered had be valid.
Step 3 – Uploading of Documents and Payment of Fees: Next, the candidates had to upload their photograph and signature as per the required specifications. COMEDK UGET 2018 application fee also had to be paid by the candidates through online (net banking/credit card/debit card) mode.

Step 4 – Selection of Test Centres: During the process of registration, the candidates had to select their preferred test centre for the entrance examination of COMEDK UGET 2018.
Step 5 – Submission of Application Form: Finally, the filled application form had to be submitted. A print out of the application form had to be taken and attested by the principal of the school/college last attended along with the official seal.

COMEDK UGET examination was conducted only in Karnataka till 2015. However, from the year 2016, the examination was held in different states of India. COMEDK UGET 2018 counselling process will be conducted in offline mode and consists of steps like registration, choice filling, allotment of seats, fee payment and document verification. All candidates who have qualified the examination will have to register themselves online for the counselling session. After successfull registration, the candidates will have to select and fill in their preferred courses and institutes for admissions. Mock allotment will be held by the admission committee to let the candidates know which seats will probably be allotted to them as per their current selected options. Changing and modification of options will be allowed after the mock allotment. The final seat allotment will be done based on the merit and preference of the candidates. Selected candidates will have to pay the fees online after which the verification entry card will be generated.
