COMEDK UGET 2018: Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges has announced the exam date for COMEDK UGET 2018. The online entrance examination will be conducted on May 13, 2018. COMEDK UGET 2018 provides admission to all eligible candidates in the participating engineering institutes located in Karnataka. The examination of COMEDK UGET 2018 acts as an alternative for engineering admissions in Karnataka after the state examination. Around 181 engineering colleges are currently affiliated to COMEDK UGET 2018. It is necessary for all candidates to meet the required eligibility criteria of COMEDK UGET 2018. If the candidate fails to satisfy the criteria, then he/she will not be considered eligible to participate in the admission process. COMEDK UGET 2018 Eligibility Criteria for B.E/B.Tech Course
The candidates should have qualified 10+2 (or equivalent) examination from a recognized board or University by state or central government.
Should have studied Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects and any one of the optional subjects – Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology or any other technical vocational courses.
In 10+2 (or equivalent) examination, the General category candidates should have scored 45% marks while SC/ST/OBC category candidates should have secured 40% in PCM. All candidates should have also passed in each subject separately.
COMEDK UGET 2018 Eligibility Criteria for B.Arch Course
The candidates should have studied 10+2 (or equivalent) exam from a recognized University or board.
Should have passed the examination with Mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects.
Those candidates who have qualified 10+3 diploma recognized by state or central government will also be eligible.
50% marks should have been secured by General category candidates while SC/ST/OBC candidates should have scored 45% marks in 10+2 (or equivalent) exam.
The candidates are required to have scored minimum 80 marks in NATA.
A separate application form has to be filled for B.Arch registration.
Programmes Offered through COMEDK UGET 2018
The application form of COMEDK 2018 will be available in online mode for all eligible candidates. The registration process will commence tentatively from the second week of February 2018. Aspirants who wish to participate in the admission process of COMEDK UGET 2018 will have to fill and submit the online application form tentatively till the third week of April 2018. Unregistered candidates will not be allowed to participate in the entrance examination. The listed steps will have to be followed to fill the application form of COMEDK UGET 2018.
Step 1 – Registration: Details like the name of the candidate, his/her date of birth, email ID and more will have to be provided for registration. The generated registration number has to be saved for future use.
Step 2 – Filling the Application Form: The candidates will have to fill their personal, academic and contact information. All details entered must be valid.
Step 3 – Uploading of Documents and Payment of Fees: Next, the candidates will have to upload their photograph and signature as per the required specifications. COMEDK UGET 2018 application fees will also have to be paid by the candidates through online (net banking/credit card/debit card) or offline mode (bank challan) at any branch of Axis Bank.

Step 4 – Selection of Test Centres: During the process of registration, the candidates will have to select their preferred test centre for the entrance examination of COMEDK UGET 2018.
Step 5 – Submission of Application Form: Finally, the filled application form has to be submitted. A print out of the application form has to be taken and attested by the principal of the school/college last attended along with the official seal.
During the registration process, the candidates will have to select their preferred choice of exam centres of COMEDK UGET 2018 from the provided list. COMEDK UGET examination was conducted only in Karnataka till 2015. However, from the year 2016, the examination is held in different states of India. COMEDK UGET 2018 cutoff will be determined and prepared by the concerned authorities of the Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka. The cutoff of COMEDK UGET 2018 will consist of the opening and closing ranks which the candidates will have to obtain to be successfully allotted seats in the participating institutes. The cutoff acts as a screening process for admissions. The candidates should note that the cutoff of COMEDK UGET 2018 will be different for each institute and course.
The admission authorities will be publishing the result of COMEDK UGET 2018 tentatively during the fourth week of May 2018. COMEDK UGET 2018 counselling process consists of registration, choice filling, allotment of seats, fee payment and document verification. All candidates who have qualified the examination will have to register themselves online for the counselling session. After successfully registering themselves, the candidates will have to select and fill in their preferred courses and institutes for admissions. Mock allotment will be held by the admission committee to let the candidates know which seats will probably be allotted to them as per their current selected options. Changing and modification of options will be allowed after the mock allotment. The final seat allotment will be done based on the merit and preference of the candidates. Selected candidates will have to pay the fees online after which the verification entry card will be generated. The verification entry card has to be produced during the document verification process which will be held at the counselling venue. Admissions will be confirmed after the verification of documents.
