NTA JEE Mains 2026 Notice : National Testing Agency publishes the NTA JEE Main notice 2026 at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The latest NTA JEE Main notice details are provided here. The JEE Main Admit Card 2026 has been released on January 17, 2026. Candidates will need their JEE Main 2026 application number and password to download the admit card. The NTA JEE exam is scheduled on 21, 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29, 2026 (session 1) and April 2 and 9 (session 2). Moreover, the authority has increased the number of test cities to 323. Also, NTA has introduced an on-screen virtual calculator along with the option to provide a UDID card (for those applicable). The JEE Main 2026 intimation slip was released on January 8, 2026.
Scoring 96% in JEE Main is considered good marks. It will give a qualifying percentile of around 87-90, depending on the exam shift, and it may be enough for top NITs or IIITs, which typically require 180+ marks or around 99 percentile.

November 20, 2025- JEE Main 2026 form correction dates and editable fields released. The process will start on December 1, 2025. Newly, candidates will be able to edit the State code of Eligibility and identity details (only if not chosen Aadhaar).
October 31, 2025- JEE Main 2026 registration commenced. The last date to apply for the session 1 JEE Main exam was November 27, 2025. JEE Main information bulletin, syllabus, exam pattern, eligibility and test city details released. NTA has introduced an on screen virtual calculator this year.
October 19, 2025- This year, NTA will introduce an Aadhaar-based data update facility apart from increasing the exam centres. The JEE Main 2026 exam will be held between January 21 to 30 (session 1) and April 1 to 10 (session 2).
September 29, 2025- JEE Main advisory to update the UDID, Aadhaar and category certificates. JEE Main 2026 registration date will be in October. The Session 1 and 2 JEE Main 2026 exams will be held in January and April, respectively.

The JEE Main 2026 exam pattern has been released along with the brochure. The authority has informed about the pattern through the NTA JEE Mains notice. Last year, changes were made in Section B of each subject. All 5 questions were made compulsory.
