List of Documents Required for JEE Main Registration

The National Testing Agency released the list of JEE Mains 2026 registration documents required. The complete specifications and format is announced with the JEE Main information bulletin. During the application process, candidates have to upload scanned images of their photographs and signatures. Additionally, candidates from reserved categories (Gen-EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL) have to provide their category number. However, they are not required to upload any scans of the Category certificate during the application. The authority has specified that candidates need not upload the caste certificate at the time of registration. However, applicants have to fill in the category number, issue date and the name of the issuing authority. This means that the caste certificate remains a document required for JEE Mains registration; however, it is not necessary to upload the document separately.

  • Valid email and mobile number for NTA messages.
