    IIIT Delhi M.Tech Entrance Exam 2026 - IIIT Delhi has started the IIIT Delhi M.Tech 2026 registration on March 16. The authority has activated the IIIT Delhi MTech application form 2026 link on the official website, iiitd.ac.in. For admission to the remaining disciplines at IIITD, candidates will be able to apply through GATE or BTech merit. Moreover, MTech CB (DBT) entrance will be based on Gat-B 2026. Note that the IIIT Delhi M.Tech entrance exam or PGCAT-IIITD 2026 will be held for admission to CS and CS (research) programmes only.     IIIT Delhi M.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2026

    Qualifying Examination for M.Tech CB

    • B.Tech/BE in CS/IT/Math-and-Computing, or

    • B.Tech/BE in any other discipline, or

    • MCA, or

    • MSc. (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biophysics, Bioinformatics, Biomedical sciences), or

    • B.Pharm, or

    • MBBS, or

    • BDS

    *For the courses mentioned above, candidates should have done at least one computer programming course alongside, and at least two mathematics courses.

    Qualifying Examination for M.Tech ECE

    • B.Tech/BE in ECE/EE (& its allied areas), or

    • MSc in Electronics

    Qualifying Examination for CS

    • B.Tech./BE, or

    • MCA/MSc in CS/IT(& its allied areas)

    Minimum Marks in Qualifying Examination

    Candidates should have obtained at least 65% in aggregate in the qualifying examination.

    *Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, PwD and CW categories enjoy a relaxation of 5% marks, i.e. minimum 60%.

    IIIT Delhi M.Tech Application Form 2026

    IIIT Delhi has announced the MTech registration dates on the website, iiitd.ac.in. The IIIT Delhi 2026 M.Tech application form filling process has begun on March 16, 2026. Candidates have to submit the IIIT Delhi M.Tech application form in online mode before the last date. Applicants had to fill in the same and provide all the necessary details.

    How to fill IIITD 2026 M.Tech application form?

    Aspirants can check the steps to fill the IIIT Delhi M.Tech application form 2026 below:

    • Visit the official website at iiitd.ac.in and click on the link to the application form

    • Candidates have to first register by entering all the basic details. They will also have to create a new password at the end.

    • To proceed with the IIIT Delhi M.Tech application form, candidates have to log in and fill in their personal, academic, and communication details

    • After providing all the information, candidates have to upload scanned copies of their signature and a recent passport-sized photograph.

    • They have to review the details filled in the IIITD 2026 M.Tech application and then proceed with payment of the application fee. It may be noted that candidates have to pay an amount of Rs 510 for the IIIT Delhi M.Tech application fee which can only be paid online.

    Selection Criteria for M.Tech ECE

    • GATE Candidates - Candidates will be screened based on their GATE Score and percentage in qualifying degrees. All such candidates will be called up for an online interview. A merit list will be prepared and admissions will be offered accordingly.

    • Non-GATE Candidates - Based on the candidate’s performance in the qualifying degree, a merit list will be prepared. Such candidates will be invited for an online interview and M.Tech admissions at IIIT Delhi will be offered accordingly.

    Selection Criteria for M.Tech CB

    • Based on the GATE Score and qualifying degree percentage, candidates were screened and called to participate in an online interview. Admissions were done on the basis of the rank obtained.

    • Students applying for MTech CB (DBT) have to qualify the GAT-B exam first. The admission will be provided on the basis of GAT B and qualifying examination merit.
