Bhilai Institute of Technology has a better ranking than oriental Institute of science and technology.
In terms of faculty both Institutes have nearly same student ratings with Bhilai Institute of Technology slightly higher.

Now coming to placements, both the Institutes have placement opportunities but oriental Institute has placements just for the non core branches. Core branches have zero placement opportunities here.
Even for the non core branches, the numbers are limited.
Bhilai Institute of Technology comparatively has better placements. This institute has gradually improved in terms of number of placements and companies coming for placements.
Top recruiters are Wipro, SAP, L&T infotech HDFC bank. Other companies coming for placement are Adani group, Axis bank, Reliance communications Pvt Ltd and many more.

If you are talking about Oriental College of technology, Bhopal, then let me tell you that the top recruiters are the TCS. For computer related courses, the highest package offered in 2019 was INR 18 lakhs per annum and the average package was INR 3.5 lakhs per annum.
