JEE Main Exam Hall Instructions 2026

The JEE Main instructions are the same as in previous years. However, there are a few important points that must be followed on the day of the JEE Main exam.

  • Candidates who have chosen the authentication through non-Aadhaar options are required to report to the college at least 1 hour before the gate closing time. So that they have time for the biometrics to be recorded at the Exam Centre.

  • Candidates are instructed to carry 2 passport-size photographs for the attendance sheet.

  • Candidates are advised to check their Aadhaar biometric authentication. Make sure it is not locked on the day of the exam.

  • Students who are diabetic are allowed to carry food or fruits inside the exam hall.

  • Sikh candidates are allowed to wear their religious articles, i.e. "KARA" and "KIRPAN".

JEE Main dress code for female 2026 is given below.

  • Female candidates are advised to wear simple and sober clothes to the exam centre.
