The JEE Mains 2026 result for both sessions will be declared once the exams are conducted. The JEE Main 2026 important dates are published at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates will be able to access the JEE Main result 2026 through their candidate login using their application number and password. The authority also releases the JEE Main toppers list along with the results. The National Testing Agency will announce the session 1 result for the JEE Main 2026 on February 12, 2026, while the session 2 result is scheduled for April 20, 2026.

The tie-breaking criteria for JEE Main 2026 are as follows.

  • NTA score in Mathematics
  • NTA score in Physics, followed by
  • NTA score in Chemistry, followed by
  • Candidate with less proportion of several attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in all the subjects in the Test, followed by
  • Candidate with less proportion of some attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Mathematics in the Test, followed by
  • Students with less proportion of many attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Physics in the Test, followed by
  • Students with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Chemistry in the Test followed by
  • If there is a tie even after this, candidates will be assigned the same rank.
