Q. Way to Go Mr. Bharat! You have got an amazing score! How are you feeling right now?
I actually feel relieved and grateful. The journey required consistent effort and a lot of patience, so seeing the results reflect that effort is truly satisfying. I’m thankful to my parents and teachers for their constant support.
Q. Tell me about yourself and how you achieved such a good score in JEE?
I would like to consider myself a disciplined and focused student. I believe in structured preparation and consistent effort. Coming from a supportive academic environment has encouraged clarity in concepts and helped with my regular practice.
Q. So, who inspired you to become an engineer?
My interest in logical thinking and problem-solving naturally drew me towards engineering. My parents, Poornima and Madhusudhan, and my teachers encouraged me to pursue it seriously and stay consistent in my efforts.
Q. In which session and on which day did you appear for JEE Main 2026?
I had appeared in the morning session of the JEE Main 2026 exam on January 22.
Q. What was the difficulty level, and which section did you find the easiest?
I found that the paper was moderately challenging. Chemistry felt relatively more straightforward compared to the other sections.
Q. Was there any order in which you solved the JEE Main paper?
Yes, I followed the CPM order — 45 minutes for Chemistry, 1 hour for Physics, and the remaining time for Mathematics. I focused on accuracy and didn’t let speed compromise correctness.
Q. Did you take a drop year, or was this your first attempt?
No, the JEE Main 2026 was my first attempt.
Q. If you had to teach some tips to other aspirants, then how should one strategise for JEE preparation along with board exams?
Each day should be self-contained without letting work spill over to the next day. That’s what I did. Avoiding backlogs significantly reduces stress. I used to take weekly tests as well. They helped me track progress while ensuring board preparation stayed aligned with JEE concepts.
Q. Is there any right way to create a study timetable? If so then how?
A timetable should be realistic and structured. I divided my day into conceptual learning and problem-solving sessions. I ensured that there was ample time for regular revision and weekly self-assessment as well.
Q. Which books did you follow for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics?
I primarily relied on class notes for conceptual clarity and solved various models and practice questions related to each topic to strengthen my understanding.
Q. When did you start your JEE preparation?
I began serious preparation during my higher secondary years. My focus was to strengthen fundamentals.
Q. Where did you take coaching and how did it help you?
I took coaching from Deeksha Vedantu. My teachers played a crucial role throughout my preparation. Their structured guidance, doubt-clearing sessions, and regular testing helped me stay on track.
Q. Is there any rule or format to cover a particular subject first?
No, there is no fixed rule. One should begin with the subject they feel most comfortable with. It builds confidence while ensuring equal attention to all three subjects.
Q. What was your approach in the last two months to score well?
I prioritised revision and mock tests over reading new concepts. I maintain an error book as it helps me identify and eliminate repeated mistakes.
Q. Which college are you aiming for and why?
There is no particular institute that I am looking for. My goal is to pursue engineering in a reputed institution where I can further enhance my analytical thinking and technical skills.
Q. Are you preparing for Session 2 as well?
Yes, I will continue preparing to improve my performance further.
Q. What did you do to relieve stress?
I followed a structured routine daily. Maintaining balance was important for me to avoid burnout. So, I used to spend time with friends and family. We used to play as part of recreation.
Q. Please share some general tips on exam-day strategy for students.
One of the most important things is to get sufficient sleep before the exam. One should try to stay calm and confident in their preparation.
