What after the JEE Main Dates 2026?

Once the JEE Main 2026 notification is out, candidates with a valid qualification can register on the official website of NTA. The JEE Main 2026 registration link will be activated on the scheduled date. Candidates must fill out the application form before the JEE Main registration deadline. Once the registration is completed, the authority will release the city intimation slip, followed by the admit card. After that, the JEE Main exam will be conducted, and the answer key will be released for students to check their exam answers. JEE Main 2026 Registration Date

The NTA will start the registration for JEE Main 2026 tentatively in October 2025. The application process marks the beginning of the JEE Main exam. NTA releases the admit card after the JEE Main 2026 registration is concluded. Candidates can download the JEE Main admit card from jeemain.nta.nic.in by logging in with their application number and password. It is mandatory to carry the JEE Main admit card 2026 to the exam centre.

JEE Main Exam Duration 2026

NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2026 exam in two shifts daily for 3 hours each. However, students appearing in both Paper 2A and Paper 2B have 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete the test. Candidates can refer to previous years’ exam duration for the future.

JEE Main 2026 Exam Timings

Generally an income certificate isn't required for the JEE Main registration, but if you want to claim the EWS quota, then you need this. You must provide the certificate, issued by a government authority, as proof of your family's income being below the specified limit for the reservation category you wish to apply under.

Yes, as JEE does accepts improvement examination scores, so you must go for it but most of the state boards have already conducted or are conducting their 2025 improvement exams. If you have already given your improvement that's fine. If you have not given improvement this year then you can take your improvement next year.
