Candidates with a valid qualification had to register on the official website of NTA. Candidates had to fill out the application form before the JEE Main registration deadline. Once the registration is completed, the authority will release the city intimation slip, followed by the admit card. After that, the JEE Main exam will be conducted, and the answer key will be released for students to check their exam answers. The NTA has conducted the JEE Main 2026 application form correction from December 1 & 2, 2025. The authority conducted for JEE Main 2026 registration on November 27, 2025. The application process marks the beginning of the JEE Main exam. Candidates who have passed the 12th class in 2024/2025 or are appearing in 2026 will be eligible to fill out the JEE Mains application form 2026. Before beginning applying online, applicants must check and fulfil the JEE Main eligibility criteria.
NTA releases the admit card after the JEE Main 2026 city slip is released. Candidates can download the JEE Main admit card from jeemain.nta.nic.in by logging in with their application number and password. It is mandatory to carry the JEE Main admit card 2026 to the exam centre.
NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2026 exam in two shifts daily for 3 hours each. However, students appearing in both Paper 2A and Paper 2B have 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete the test. Candidates can refer to previous years’ exam duration for the future.

NTA will be holding the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 exam in two shifts on each exam day. The JEE Mains exam shift 1 timing is 9 AM to 12 PM, while shift 2 timings are 3 PM to 6 PM. Candidates can refer to previous years’ timings for reference.
