KCET Counselling 2019 - The seat allotment result of KCET 2019 counselling special round (for vacant rounds) has been published on August 21, 2019. Candidates can check their allotment status and complete the admission formalities. Previously, the result of second extended round of KCET 2019 counselling was announced on August 5. The round 1 and 2 seat allotment was published on June 30 and July 21 respectively. The authorities is conducting the counselling of KCET 2019 to provide B.Tech admission into the participating institutes. The first, second and second extended round of counselling is over. Only those who participate in KCET counselling 2019, are eligible for allotment into the seats made available for admission. Firstly, the candidates have to verify their documents at the various centres and fill their choices of colleges and courses. Allotment during the counselling of KCET 2019 is done according to the rank, preferences and availability of seat. Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has commenced the counselling of KCET 2019 from June 6. The candidates will have to go through the KCET 2019 counselling process in both offline and online mode. The steps that the candidates will have to complete for admissions into the participating institutes are listed below:

Firstly, the eligible candidates had to verify their documents at the counselling centres. According to the released schedule, the candidates had to report at the centre and produce their documents. A verification slip was given to the candidates after successful verification along with a unique ID and password.

After being successfully verified, the candidates had to fill their preferred colleges and course for admission. The choice filling was available after the candidates login into their account using CET number. The course wise, category wise and college wise seat matrix was uploaded by the authorities. After selecting their preferred choices, the candidates had to lock their choices before their final date. The candidates will also be able to modify, add or delete their choices every round of counselling. It is to be remembered that the choices have to be done in order of preference. In case, a new college or course is added to the seat matrix, the candidates will be allowed to add new choices after the first round is concluded.

The authorities have conducted the first, second and second extended allotment of KCET 2019 on June 30, July 21 and August 5 respectively. Previously, the mock seat allotment of KCET 2019 was announced on June 27. Allotment is done according to the candidate’s KCET 2019 rank, preferences, category and availability of seat. Two rounds of KCET seat allotment 2019 is being conducted along with an extended second round.
Selected candidates will have to visit their allotted institute to confirm their admission. The required documents along with the allotment letter has to be produced by the candidates in the institute. Payment of the required fee also has to be done to confirm the allotment.
