DCECE 2020 - Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released the DCECE admit card on November 12. The authorities have announced the new DCECE 2020 exam date on the official website. The authorities will now conduct the DCECE test on November 26 and 27. Earlier, the authorities reopened the DCECE 2020 application form from September 20 to September 28, however last date to pay application fee through challan was September 29 and that of online payment was September 30. DCECE 2020 will be a pen-paper based examination for admission in various engineering diplomas in the polytechnics across the state of Bihar. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria of DCECE 2020 before applying for the exam. Registered candidates will be able to download DCECE admit card 2020 in online mode. Candidates who will qualify DCECE 2020 will be called for the counselling process. The counselling of DCECE 2020 will be conducted in online mode and will include registration, choice filling, seat allotment and payment of fee. The verification of documents has to be done during DCECE 2020 counselling. DCECE Eligibility Criteria 2020
Candidates are requested to check the eligibility criteria of DCECE 2020 before applying for the exam. No candidate will be eligible for final allotment if he/she does not fulfill the minimum DCECE eligibility criteria 2020. Candidates can refer the eligibility criteria for both the engineering diploma courses offered under DCECE 2020 mentioned below:
Eligibility Criteria of DCECE 2020 (PE & PPE)
Domicile- Candidates must be Indian National whose-
Parent is a permanent resident of Bihar or
Parent enjoys refugee status in the state or
Parent is employed with Bihar government or
Parent is employed with the central government in Bihar or
Parent works with the UN and is currently posted in the state.
Medical Fitness- Candidates should be medically fit.
DCECE 2020 Eligibility Criteria for PE
Candidates must have passed Class X exam conducted by Bihar board or any other equivalent exam with a minimum 35% marks.
Candidates appearing in Class 10th in the admission year are also eligible to apply.
There is no minimum or maximum age limit for the exam.
DCECE 2020 Eligibility Criteria for PPE
Candidates must have passed Class X exam or any equivalent exam, and must also hold a two-year ITI certificate.
Candidates should not be less than 19 years of age on 1st July 2020.
DCECE Application Form 2020
Candidates were able to apply for DCECE 2020 or Bihar Polytechnic online through the official website. The application form of DCECE 2020 last date was September 28. All of the required details had to be filled by the candidates and should also be valid in nature. Applications after the final date will not be accepted by the authorities. Steps to Fill DCECE 2020 Application Form-
Step 1: Registration - In the first step, candidates will had to register for DCECE 2020 by entering a valid email ID and mobile number.
Step 2: Personal Details - After registration, candidates had to enter their personal details like name, gender, date of birth, communication details, etc.
Step 3: Uploading of Documents - After entering their personal details, the candidates were required to upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature as per the specifications given by the authorities.

Step 6: Payment of Fee - The next step of the process was payment of application fee. Candidates were able to pay the fee in both online (net banking/credit card/debit card) or offline mode (e-challan).
Step 7: Print out of Application form- The last step was to take the print out of the completed application form (Part A and B).

Tie Breaking Procedure of DCECE 2020
In case of a tie of marks between two or more candidates, the authorities will use the following tie-breaking rule to determine the rank of the candidates.
Candidates with higher marks will be given higher rank.
If the tie still persists, candidates with higher marks in Physics will be given higher rank.
If the tie still persists, candidates older in age will be given higher rank.
DCECE Merit List 2020
Along with the rank card, the authorities will also release the merit list of DCECE 2020. Candidates can simply access DCECE 2020 merit list by clicking on the list, they are not required to login for it. Candidates are shortlisted for counselling and seat allotment on the basis of merit list.

DCECE Counselling 2020
Candidates who will have their names in DCECE 2020 merit list will be called for the counselling and seat allotment process. Counselling of DCECE 2020 will have many steps along with document verification. Candidates can refer the given steps to understand the counselling procedure of DCECE 2020.
DCECE Counselling Procedure 2020
Registration - Candidates will be able to register online for the counselling of DCECE 2020 by selecting the course to be applied and then entering their registration number, name, date of birth and security code. As the candidates will enter these details, data entered by them at the time of filling application form will be displayed on screen along with some new fields like if a candidate entered “appearing in qualifying exam” then the pass details will be asked. Enter all the required details and finish the registration.
Choice Filling - Once the registration is completed, candidates will have to fill their choices of courses and polytechnics. Candidates should choose their choices carefully as on the basis of these choices, they are allotted seats.
Locking of Filled Choices - Once candidates have filled the choices, they will have to lock their choices.
Seat Allotment - On the basis of merit list, category, choices locked and availability of seats, candidates will be allotted seats. The counselling will have different rounds and the seats allotted will get auto-updated according to the locked choices of candidates.
Payment of Admission Fee- Candidates will have to report to the allotted college with a demand draft of Rs 1000 in favor of the principal of concerned Institution in order to pay the admission fee.

My enquiry is about BIHAR DCECE 2020, If a student who is fails in English Subject of Bihar Board 10th examination is he eligible for PMD (Paramedical Dental) course, second inquiry is about what is the eligibility for PM (Paramedical) Intermediate ANM, can a arts student apply for it.
To be eligible for PMD course you should have completed your 10th from a Recognised Board. You should be atleast 15 years as on December 31st, 2020 but not beyond 35 years as on December 31st, 2020. If you have failed in English and the overall result is also failed then you cannot appear for DCECE. You should have completed your 10th and passed in all subjects to be eligible for PMD. And regarding ANM, course 12th in any stream is accepted. You should have completed your 12th from any stream and you should be 17 years atleast as on December 31st, 2020 and not beyond 32 years as on December 31st, 2020. Only female Candidates can apply for this post.

The syllabus for DCECE comprises of topics from physics, chemistry and maths from classes 11 & 12.
The exam will be conducted via offline mode. The duration for exam will be of 2 hours & 15 minutes. The question paper will contain 90 questions. The question paper will consist of question in both English as well as Hindi languages.
There will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) in the question paper. Each correct answer will consist of 5 marks & there will be no negative marking for wrong answer. As there will be no negative marking, so students must attempt all the questions given in the question paper.
