To qualify in the exam, candidates of the general category need to score a minimum of 30% marks or obtain 36 marks out of 120. No minimum qualifying marks are set for SC and ST candidates and they will be included in the merit list irrespective of their scores.
In cases where two or more candidates score the same marks, the tie will be decided in the following order:
Candidates who have higher marks in mathematics will be ranked higher
Candidates with higher marks in physics will be placed higher
If the tie persists, the candidate older in age will be given preference.

AP POLYCET 2026 syllabus is yet to be released. It will be based on the topics of subjects - Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics of Class X (SSC). Thus, the candidates should prepare for the exam keeping in mind the syllabus of class 10th.
As per last year's brochure, Candidates must be a domicile in Andhra Pradesh. Last year, the application fee for AP POLYCET 2026 was INR 400 for OC/BC category candidates and INR 100 for SC/ST category candidates.
